"They don't give me water. I'm in a cage like an animal. I don't know why I'm here, please help me if you can."
Extract from letter by Mozaaem Beg, British Detainee

as-salaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh -

Cageprisoners.com (http://www.cageprisoners.com) highlights the plight of the Guantanamo Bay prisoners and other victims of human rights abuses in the West's so-called "War on Terror".

We came online in November 2003, during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and have received considerable support from Muslim and non-Muslims vistors.

We are a handful of Muslim volunteers, whose work has been supported by numerous Muslim and non-Muslim campaigners, such as Amnesty International, Peace and Progress, Guantanamo Human Rights Commission, German freelance writer Marianne Kremer.

As a result of our endeavours to be the most up-to-date, comprehensive resource on Guantanamo, our work has subsequently found equal commendation from the lawyers, families and ex-detainees themselves, in addition to being the reference point for numerous journalists and renowned media agencies.

Your support does make a difference. Pressure put on Western governments leads to figidity politicians at morning strategy meetings to make changes in policies and uncomfortably reconsider current strategy - apathy doesn't!
