Assalam Alaikum,

Whenever i try to raise any issues with any Salafi males, (throughout the 5 years I have known them) they always start insulting me instead when they cant answer my questions, sometimes in a very innapropriate and shameful manner with their females.******* This is clearly the*******approach and sign of a DEFEATED mentality and manhaj.

Another thing is, have you ever tried following the advices you give me yourselves?

But being that you can never be bothered to properly answer any single argument I raise,*******I think we should have no further discussions because I am also no longer bothered anymore.

I pray Allah guides you all to understand the truth.

Wassalam

I consider myself a salafi male (well, really i consider myself just a muslim) but others would say i follow the typical salafi methodology

however, i am not an ideologue

what is an ideologue? its someone who has already made up their mind and then find quran, sunnah and other things to support what they already think

i try to not have an opinion, until i have seen what islam says about a thing, and i base that upon what ayat, hadith and scholarly opinion have stated, then after that, i may give you a personal opinion

ÈÓã Çááå ÇáÑÍãä ÇáÑÍíã

Sadly enough many people have good and bad people representing their Dawah. Even Cristians and Jews never recall a situation of kindness or sincerity but will automatically remember the time in which some ignorant muslim treated them rudely. So they say to themselves, “If this is Islam and the type of people that represent it then I don’t want any part of it.” Same goes for some muslims that look towards a certain Dawah or group and make false accusations based on minimal proof. This is not fair to themselves nor the religion when we look at a group we should make a check list to see if it is upon the truth and I will try to explain with the best of my ability Insha Allah.

The Approach to take when Judging a group to be upon the Truth or not:

Tawheed: Before and proofs or ayats or hadeeths, one should see if they are following the very foundation of the Testimony of Faith (La illaha illa Allah) to know and defend its concepts.

As we know every prophet before revelation (proofs) were revealed to them the were firm upon Tawheed.

Evidences: This is actually the second part of the Testimony of Faith (Wa Ashadu Anna Muhammadan Ar-Rasool Allah) because when you affirm that Muhammad (SAW) was a prophet then you must follow him as Allah commanded the people to follow the previous prophets. This is accomplished by using the following:

· Quran: It is imperative to take the Book of Allah as the highest form of guidance, where as if you deny even one verse in it, it is as if you’ve denied the whole Quran and this nullifies ones verifiability and Islam.

· Sunnah (Prophetic Tradition): that is considered either as the living example of the Quran (the Prohphet saw) or a further explanation of the Quran. Ibn Katheer said that every ayat in the Quran can be ascribed back to one of the 7 verses of surah Al-Fatihah, and as we’ve witnessed with the people of Hadeeth when they write chapters on Hadeeth they always show that each hadeeth can be returned back to a verse of the Quran.

· Sahabah(Companions): This is an example of how a community as a whole implements the Quran and Sunnah. They’ve been a prime source of further explanation of issues that might have been misinterpreted if not shown how it was used by the community.

· Tabi’een & Tabi Tabi’een (Those who knew Sahabah & those who know those who knew the Sahabah): The are the next source of guidance we use to reaffirm issues.

· Pious Predecessors: This is the final source of guidance that goes back from Imam Abu Haneefah, Abu Sufyan and their likes all the way to today.

Implementation: This doesn’t need really allot of explanation it is just basically stating that some might say that they follow the above in their approach to the Dawah, but the only way we can differ between a mulsim and a munifiq is by what is apparent. If the persons words and actions contradict the above then it doesn’t matter what they say, they are upon something else that what is above.

So if you use these firstly when judging a group and a party then you’d probley save yourself allot of time and anxiety.

As for the Salafi Dawah, sadly enough whenever you find a group upon the truth other people try to infiltrate it and corrupt it. As for Salafis Aquedah and most issues of Fiqh then they are the closest to the truth because they follow the above point very stricktly. But one should know that Salafies have been divided into three different groups:

Salafi Jihaddi : This group is the upon the truth in my opinion and are the most correct in terms of Tawheed, Kufr bi-Taghoot and al-Wala wal Barah. It doesn’t matter how many books you’ve memorized if you lack the following three they are all fruitless. In between Salafi: Basically they usually support, Salafi but are confused on allot of issues especially in al-Wala wal Bara. This is usually a place most new Salafis start and within time either fall into the Salafi Jihaddi or the Madkhali Dawah denpending on their intentions. (i.e. if they seek high positions in the government through the dawah then they’d become Madkhalis) Madkhalis: There have been books and books and books written about these people and their innovations and kufr. These are more in likely the ones whom you’ve been ill treated by because they are very offensive and rude, they bark loud because only dogs bark because they lack knowledge to speak and express their opinions. They are the lap-dogs of the Rulers, they tuck their tale between their legs when it comes to Jihad and hide behind their books. They make Takfeer upon the Mujahideen, the ally themselves with the Kuffar and hide and mix truth with falsehood in their books. [/list]

I could say more but I got to go and pray, Jizak Allah Khair and I hope this helps
