The West attacked Afghanistan because of the Twin Towers attack.

Laden said the Towers Attack was retaliation for the Wests attacks on Muslims.

Laden said this would happen in 1998 if the West didn't stop attacking Muslims.

My question is:

Is their a book that details the Wests aggresivness on Islam/Muslims that covers the period from before (or including) 9/11 and 7/7. I mean, we are told these attacks are a respose to Western agression. Is their a good book out their that details the West agression? I am told about Kashmire, Cheycnia, Bosnia, the Russian occupation, etc but is their a book that specialies in this and covers the sort of question I am asking?

The start being the Crusades, then the creation if Israel on Muslim land. It doesn;t have ot cover this but I hope in saying this you understand what I am asking and I am not just droning on.

Maybe...?

It's a long story and it goes way beyond Israel.

It's just a continuation of the crusade, then colonialism, then post-colonialism era of Western puppets being supported and aided by the West to deprive the Muslim masses of their freedoms by fear, oppression and torture tactics, and then the creation of Israel by expelling an entire population, which was basically seen as Europe dumping its waste substances on our heads.

Stealing of the Palestinian land was the greatest crime of the past century. So the war didn't start after 9/11. Not at all.

I asked:

The West attacked Afghanistan because of the Twin Towers attack (the media tell us). Laden said the Towers Attack was retaliation for the Wests attacks on Muslims. Laden said this would happen in 1998 (John Miller interview) if the West didn't stop attacking Muslims.

My question is: Is their a book that details the Wests aggresivness on Islam/Muslims that covers the period from before (or including) 9/11 and 7/7. I mean, we are told these attacks are a respose to Western agression. Is their a good book out their that details the West agression? I am told about Kashmire, Cheycnia, Bosnia, Kosova, the Russian occupation, etc but is their a book that specialies in this and covers the sort of question I am asking? A book that shows the West aggression rather than the ones you can get in Waterstones that only say the West aggression is only in retaliation. The start being the Crusades, then the creation if Israel on Muslim land. It doesn;t have ot cover this but I hope in saying this you understand what I am asking and I am not just droning on. I have been told that Robert Fisk's The Great War for Civilisation: The Conquest of the Middle East might be a good one. Can you recommend any? Maybe from your shop?

I have also had these messages of response:

I found Robert Fisk's book (The Great War for Civilisation: The Conquest of the Middle East (http://www.play.com/Books/Books/4-/1020073/The-Great-War-for-Civilisation/Product.html)) very thorough. it also makes painful reading at times, but that means he has done his job well. Fisk is one of a few journalists that have interviewed OBL, and these moments are retold in the book. before i read fisk's book, is read Messages to the World (http://www.play.com/Books/Books/4-/707852/Messages-to-the-World/Product.html)....all the messages from OBL...and there he gives his rationale regarding Sept. 11 2001....he said it was the bombing of Lebanon back in the 80's that was the catalyst for events years later in NYC and Washington.

The book on Bin Laden speeches and letters is really amazing because there is an actual "cry" to fight injustice before it goes out of control and a lot of the writings are directly addressed to GOVTs and Institutes- it is always an idea to get books written by people from the conflict zones also because you get a sense of the emotion of the context as this is the main catylst for issues that are drowning us -people think from their personnal context and living outside and thousands of miles away from them zones is just not living their madness.I sincerly beleive we would all fight injustice if we lived amongst it in some form and those that cause conflict with money and economics from thousands of miles away must be taught that their ways are reaching their end and the "chickens might just come home to roost " especially in the days of cheap air travel!!!!!

Also, this site is excellent:

Is their a decent book describing our struggles (and the reason behind them) in Kashmir, Chechnya, Bosnia, Somalia, etc?

It's widely known about Afghanistan, Iraq, and Palestine but I cannot find any decent book or straight forward easy to read articles on Kashmir, Kosovo, Chechnya, Bosnia, Somalia.

I have read Wikipedia articles on these countires but it isn't computing with me.

Basically, I am asking:

What is going on in Kashmir, Kosovo, Chechnya, Bosnia, Somalia? Why are we fighting their? Are these Muslim lands that are being occupied? Making sense?

UPDATE:

I understand the Afghanistan-Russia conflict (http://moviesdesk.com/movie/557-Beowulf_2007.html).

I now understand the Chechyna conflict, independence from Russia as a predominently Muslim country (Q&A: The Chechen conflict (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/3293441.stm)) which is still going on today.

I now understand the Somalia conflict, independence as a predominently Muslim country under the Union of Islamic Courts (Q&A: Somali conflict (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/4760775.stm)) which is still going on today.

I now understand the Kashmir conflict, joining with Pakistan or India as a predominently Muslim country (Q&A: Kashmir dispute (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/2739993.stm)) which is still going on today.

I now understand the Bosnia conflict, independence ( Country profile: Bosnia-Hercegovina (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/country_profiles/1066886.stm)). I understand why many Muslims joined the fight against the genocide of Muslim Bosnians (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosnian_War) and this joining of the war by outside Muslims are supported in Britain (atrocities were perpetrated by Serbs against Bosnian Muslims, British Muslims go to help and are seen as honourable (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4424222.stm)). Is this problem still going on today? Youtube: British Jihadis in Bosnia (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRNYOE0Q_00&feature=related)

What about Kosovo?
