Assalaam-u-alaikum,

Brother, it is a serious sin to pronounce takfir of another Muslim, let alone put those words in the mouth of someone else. I do not know what your aim is. I have skimmed some of your posts at ahya.org, and it does not seem befitting for you to try and present views which you attribute to Hanafis, or anyone besides yourself. I usually do not say much in the way of admonition, but your method of argumention is at best divisive and heart-hardening. Before criticizing other schools of thought, I suggest you carefully analyze your previous statements and assess whether you (or any of us, for that matter) have the right to judge others.

If you want to learn about the Hanafi maddhab, I suggest you visit www.sunnipath.com. Seeking the truth is never difficult, and the school of Abu Hanifa is one way of operationalizing the sunna of our Beloved Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him. If you want to learn about Barelvis, ask them yourself what they believe. If you want to learn about Deobandis, then ask them, too. Don't read two books and conclude you have it all figured out. I'm sorry if I sound harsh, I certainly do not mean to be. My point is quite simply: never judge. Leave that to Allah Most High.

Please note the words in boldface above. I am being critical of actions, not people.

Wassalaam
