Group,

I would like to convert to Islam and learn the language. I totally believe in the life the culture and morals. I have found that Americans that are not from a Islamic culture is not accepted.I have alot to offer and willing to learn just because my family is from Sweden and Russia doesn't mean that the values the morals and the fight and the leadership that is shown through the Muslim culture isn't something I want to be apart of. Now as I have be reading Allah says to accept everyone that believes and to help out your fellow brother. Is this statement not true or did I misinterpet it. Which is very possible since I'm in the learning stage of all of this. Contrary of some of the people on here I do know IT security very well and electronics among other things that could be a help with websites. I have sent messages to other members of this group and I get no response does someone want to clarify this? May Allah bless all of you

My advice at this stage is to concentrate on yourself more than helping others, whilst not being selfish in doing so. What that means is to prioritise yourself and your beliefs that require clarity and firmness, rather than spend time in helping people with any IT security or electronic issues.

These are the starting points and most important. You need to formally establish your status as a Muslim, you need to utter your shahada (declaration of faith) whilst knowing what you are saying, why you are saying it and meaning it with the full conviction of your heart and mind. You need to learn how to perform salaah (daily prayers) and learn all the responsibilities that Allah swt expects Muslims to carry out individually and towards others.

I am sure other forum members can assist further in regards to this.

why dont you go to your local mosque and say you would like to become muslim? then you can move on from there.
