Requirements

VerbAce runs on Windows XP, 2000, and NT 5.0.
Using VerbAce

Once VerbAce is running, select a word by clicking on it (according to the selected mouse configuration). You can also type the word in the VerbAce window. Please Note that the text must be selectable (may be highlighted by Windows upon a regular double-click on it) in order for it to be recognized by a VerbAce mouse click. Most Windows applications are supported (e.g. Explorer, Word, Acrobat Reader by switching to Select Mode).
Terms of Use

VerbAce 2007 is a one-year freeware. Permission is granted to anyone to use this software for any purpose, including commercial applications, and to redistribute it, provided that the below warranty disclaimer is accepted and the following conditions are met:
1. All redistributions must keep the original package intact. No file may be removed or modified. Especially you must retain all copyright notices that are currently in place, and this license without modification.
2. The origin of this software must not be misrepresented; you must not claim that you wrote the original software.

1) it works both ways (english to arabic and arabic to english).
2) just copy paste (arabic or english word)
3) it provides partial matches too. (its gr8)
4) if yo dont have arabic installed it might not work properly. goto START-->SETTINGS--->CONTROL PANNEL--->REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE OPTIONS--->LANGUAGES--->CHECK 'install files for complex script and right-to-left languages' option (you will need the CD of windows).

what exactly did you tried?

1) one of the problems is that no icon appears on the desktop after installation. so where does the dictionary go ?

while installation we give a path to install the software. like c:\Program Files\VerbAce. in this directory you will find an exe file "VerbAce". create a shortcut. cut this shortcut. and paste on the desktop.

2) second problem is that after using it once and closing its window if one wants to reuse and clicks the icon on the desktop it doesnt appear. so where did it go?

its there on the right bottom corner with clock,speaker etc.
