The names of the 23 businessmen are: Rasuljon Ajikhalilov, Abdumajit Ibragimov, Abdulboki Ibragimov, Tursunbek Nazarov, Makhammadshokir Artikov, Odil Makhsdaliyev, Dadakhon Nodirov, Shamsitdin Atamatov, Ortikboy Akbarov, Rasul Akbarov, Shavkat Shokirov, Abdurauf Khamidov, Muzaffar Kodirov, Mukhammadaziz Mamdiyev, Nasibillo Maksudov, Adkhamjon Babojonov, Khakimjon Zakirov, Gulomjon Nadirov, Musojon Mirzaboyev, Dilshchodbek Mamadiyev, Abdulvosid Igamov, Shokurjon Shakirov, and Ravshanbek Mazimjonov. Uzbek Dictator Islam Karimov moved swiftly to crush the demonstrations in Andijan which were supported by thousands of Muslims.

</font></div><font face="Tahoma">Reading the above quotes it is apparently clear that Hizb ut-Tahrir(HT) are knowing or unknowingly (to quote a favourite HT phrase) operating according to the US agenda. In 1999 HT declared Uzbek President Islam Karimov to be a Kafir(disbeliever)“The one who mobilised the authorities in Uzbekistan against Hizb ut-Tahrir is the President, Islam Karimov. He is full of hatred for Islam, and not just for Hizb ut-Tahrir only. He despises Islam despite his name being ‘Islam’. He is a Kafir who does not believe in Islam” [Leaflet – ‘The Practices of the Rulers in Uzbekistan’ 20/04/99]
</font><font face="Tahoma">Similar to the Ahl ul-Sunnah* groups, HT adopt exactly the same rule about dealing with the apostate rulers, the only difference being HT do not refer to all of today’s rulers as infidels (where as the Ahl ul-Sunnah groups do) the Karimov regime is one of HT’s exceptions since as stated they have already declared him Kafir. In their adopted book ‘The Funds in the Khilafah State’ HT writes “If a group apostatises, becoming powerful in a land, establishing their own ruler who rules between them, then they are considered as Dar ul-Harb(Land of War), thus losing the protection for their blood and property. It is obligatory to fight them as they become like Kuffar(disbelievers) in origin, in fact, they are worse. It is of a greater priority to fight them for the Kuffar must accept Islam, peace or Jizya(tax). As for apostates, nothing is accepted from them except Islam; peace and Jizya are <u>not</u> accepted from them. (Sayyidina...) Abu Bakr(ra) and the Sahabah fought the apostates and would only accept from them either their complete return to Islam or War. The Prophet(saw) said: ‘You should kill whoever changes his Deen’.” [Chapter 15 ‘The Property of the Apostates’]

</font><font face="Tahoma">The question now arises why after declaring Karimov to be a Kafir are HT not applying the ruling of the apostate ruler, rather they like the Ahl ul-Sunnah group - Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) should be fighting the apostate ruler and the group which is cementing his throne. To quote HT, why are they not declaring that “It is obligatory to fight them” as opposed to towing the US agenda in Uzbekistan. Granted HT do not see eye-to-eye with the Jihad organisations from Ahl us-Sunnah like the IMU, but this difference is linked to whom each consider to be apostates not on the rule itself. HT knowingly declared Karimov to be a Kafir but rather than adopt the agreed upon Islamic method to deal with an apostate ruler, they are knowingly towing a different line, a line running alongside the US agenda.
</font><font face="Tahoma">One could ask why suddenly after over 10 years has Uzbekistan hit the mainstream headlines, riots, demonstrations, shoot-outs, bombings have been going on for years. IMU and HT are known to be the most prominent Islamic groups in Uzbekistan Hizb ut-Tahrir emphasizes the peaceful nature of its activities. In contrast, the IMU a Sunni group (unlike the pseudo-mutazillite HT) has always claimed openly that its goal is to overthrow Karimov's government and proclaim an Islamic Caliphate. HT have categorically distanced themselves from the latest incidents, re-iterating yet again their ‘Ghandi’ method in line with the US-agenda of bringing change through ‘non-violent means’ (also note Bush’s speech in his visit to Georgia vis-à-vis peaceful democratic change throughout former soviet republics). This only leaves the IMU, since they are the only ones prepared to engage themselves in legitimate armed struggle in order to bring about a legitimate regime-change i.e. to establish Shari’ah.
</font><font face="Tahoma">Neighbouring Afghanistan saw mass demonstrations in at least nine provinces, after Newsweek printed an article regarding the desecration of the Qur’an by Guantanamo Bay ‘Concentration Camp Guards’ which confirmed what has already been highlighted by former detainees. Muslims rightly responded to sacrilegious behaviour by the US authorities at the camp, and the continuing demonstrations by the Muslims in Afghanistan have been supported by demonstrations throughout the Muslim World like in Arabia, Pakistan, and Palestine to name a few. The desecration of the Qur’an is yet more evidence of US hatred towards Islam and Muslims in its new crusade.
</font><font face="Tahoma">The US and UK in their recent elections supported so-called representative organisations, and we saw numerous ‘scholars for dollars’ issuing blasphemous verdicts to Muslims to vote in Kufr(non-Islamic) democratic elections, by voting for a shari’ah (system of laws) contrary to the Final Shari’ah revealed to the Final Prophet Muhammad(saw). This is in itself tantamount to desecrating the Qur’an. America is hell-bent on ‘democratising’ the Muslim World through violent means as has been seen by the whole world in the violent regime-changes at the hands of the US, both in Afghanistan and Iraq. Muslims at the very least have the right to change western backed post-colonial dictatorships by the use of force not only from an Islamic perspective but a rational one, since the US itself have proven that dictators like Saddam will not go away peacefully. Through ‘democracy’ the US and Her Allies wish to see the ideological desecration of the Qur’an throughout the Muslim World.
</font><font face="Tahoma">Muslims must no longer put up with this; it is time for us to draw our line in the sand. Muslims need to rise up throughout the world and put the Qur’an into practice and deal with the dictators who stand in the way of making this happen. The Apostates ruling the Muslim World have committed crimes that are equivalent to systematically desecrating the Qur’an on a daily basis. The US and Co. wish to further this agenda by shoving democracy down the throat of Islam, Islam must be prepared to cut the hands of the thieves ruling and occupying the Muslim World as well as the very hand that is shoving democracy down its throat.
