A new life...sounds too wonderful. To begin once again, to restart. To have gone back in years and correct the many mistakes, the blunders, and the personal disasters. A time comes when one just wishes to start: a new life!

It is a life that is detached from the world and yearns for the pleasure of Allah, to be highly noticed by Him - a heart hung strong by the frames of Islam! That's how we wish to begin our new life. You and I - we're starting anew. A life of few sorrows, regrets, and dissapointments...it is the life we choose to live. Our life doesn't seek the pleasure of people but one that seeks to sacrifice everything so to please the Creator. Our life is designed for happiness. A prayer that relaxes the soul, a smile that opens people's heart, and a money given sincerely to earn appreciation and be thankful of all that we have, and the little that we don't.

A new life isn't one that you find in a bargain store, it is what you make of it. It is your life that you must work hard to change, and make everyday, one that resembles a new life and another blessed chance to change...for the better. Has the old, regrettable life which is perhaps the one you are living now so convincing to your heart? If your heart is filled with joy of being obedient to Allah, performing His obligations, and turning to Him in time of happiness and agony, then your old life is one that only needs polishing. That means, add more faith and iman to your life but do it gradually so that to taste every moment of the delightful feeling of faith - unknown only to a believer.

However, if your life is devoid of this pleasure, then a new life is what you should be seeking. Perhaps we all should. For all that I have said is nearly pointless and worthless...if not for,

Paradise.

Seek it...for surely, there lies a new life for us all.

Bismillah,

William I notice that your status, is 'non muslim', having read this thread I feel it appropriate to ask, wouldn't you like a new life with the truth and light of Islaam?

Sorry if this seems slightly abrupt however I have noticed you are here much and have an open mind and ethuaism and as far as I know, nobody has posed this question to you. So I am interested, with your obvious admiration for Islaam and the Muslims, why not start a new life in the light of Islaam?:)

As salaam 'alaikum

Jazaak Allaahu khairan for your post

Last week my brother in law was very close to death, we were told by the doctors to expect the worse

Miracluosy and more importantly by the power and will of Allaah he came through

After watching him struggling to breathe, terrified the next breath he takes maybe his last, I found it hard to focus on anything my outlook on life has completely changed and I’m finding it hard to adjust back to my old routine.

Coming back online and reading forums, brother and sisters bickering over pointless things really makes you wonder what’s the point of it all?, the contribution you make to this forum will mean nothing to you when you’re facing death, unless it’s something beneficial, other than that the posts are fruitless

I really wish people would wake up to this reality
