1 - Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah said to Jibril:
"Why is it that I never see Mika'il smiling?"
Jibril replied: "Mika'il has not smiled since Hell was Created."
[Narrated by Ahmad, and it is in 'Sahih at-Targhib wat-Tarhib' (3664)]
2 - Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:
"If there were 100,000 or more people in this mosque - one of them being one of the inhabitants of Hell who took a breath - this breath of his would cause the entire mosque to burn up along with everyone in it."
[Reported by al-Bazzar and Abu Ya'la, and it is in 'Sahih at-Targhib wat-Tarhib' (3668) and 'as-Silsilah as-Sahihah' (2509)]
