Fatwah on jihaad in chechnya

Prominent Islamic scholar of the modern times Yusuf al-Qaradawi released a special Fatwa (Islamic Shariah regulation based on the consensus of eminent scholars of the world), where he defines the armed fight of the Chechen people against the Russian aggression as «one of the best kinds of Jihad in the Cause of Allah».

In the Fatwa Yusuf al-Qaradawi defined that it is a direct duty of all Muslims around the world to back Chechen Mujahideen.

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.

It is the duty of every Muslim to back oppressed Muslims in all parts of the world. No doubt that Chechens fight in defense of their lands, honor and religion, and hence they are doing one of the best kinds of Jihad in the Cause of Allah.

Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi - «I think – Allah knows best– that the marvelous fighting carried out by our brothers in Chechnya is considered one of the best kinds of Jihad in the Cause of Allah. They fight – in defense of their lands, honor and religion – a tyrannical oppressive force, which does not fear Allah nor have mercy on any creature. There is a scholarly consensus (Ijma’) that whoever fights in defense of his religion, land and household, and is killed in that fighting, is considered a Martyr (Shahid).

We all know that the people of Chechnya did not launch an attack against anyone; however they have been attacked and killed in their homes. But we are sure that Allah the Almighty will help them put their enemy to rout, grant them victory and help them gain supremacy in their lands. Allah, Exalted be He, says: «Permission to fight (against disbelievers) is given to those (believers) who are fought against them (believers) victory». (Al-Hajj: 39)

The recent days augurs victory for Chechnya, and the Promise of Allah will for sure come true soon. Allah, Exalted and Glorified be He, says, «If Allah is your helper none can overcome you...» (Al ‘Imran: 160)»

i mean some losers are declaring fatwas against fighting the US.

you can clearly see that a jihad is on if you look at the atrocities committed by the dirty crusaders in iraq, palestine etc.

Allahu Akbar! Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi! I congratulate the Umma with the departure of one of the greatest hypocrites of our times(Ahmad Kadyrov), together with many of his brothers shaytans!! This was the greatests enemy of Shariat in Shishan, after Putin himself.

The battle in Shishan to raise the Word of Allah is coming into important phase! May Allah (swt) help His sincere slaves, mujahedeen! Ameen!

The fatwa/ call to Jihaad has been given a long time ago especially jihad in Chechnya, Kashmir and Afghanistan.

This fatwah by Yusf Al Qaradawi is very important because many "moderate muslims" (but they should be called "negligent muslims") follow him. InshaAllah they'll wake up

The name 'Chechen' is a what the Russians called us when they first came to Caucasus. Chechnya is derived from that, and is not a nice name to me, because it is a Russian name. Shishan is an Arabic version of Chechen. While there r other names like Ichkeria(an old name of mountain Chechnya) Chechens call themselves Nohchi. Moreover, 150 years ago, Chechnya and Daghestan were a single Imamate, under the leadership of Imam Shamyl. And even after Shamyl(Daghestani whom Chechens themselves appointed as an Imam after he was kicked out of Daghestan, and helped him to kick out Russians from Daghestan) Chechens continued to resist right until 1976 when the last Mujaheed Hasuha was killed at the age of 76, in a cemetry where he dug a grave for himself. He had killed hundreds of KGB communists alone over all his long life. Here u can see pictures taken by KGB after they killed him:

So it doesn't really matter how it is called, it is still the land of Allah, and His righteous slaves on earth, insha Allah. Ever since 40 Sahaba (RA) came to Derbent (Daghestan) and became Shahid there(their graves r still there), the struggle between Iman and Kufr continues, under different names.
