I got this e-mail from my uni isoc
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Assalamualaikum Waarahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu
Asslamualaikum,
My daughter Salma, who is just 12 years old is battling for life at a Local hospital, she is suffering from cancer and is presently in the
last stage . The doctors have given up all hope but then I have trust in ALLAH and in the power of dua. Therefore as a helpless mother
of a dying child I beg all of you to pray for my daughter, please include her as a part of each and every dua of yours.
Please pray to ALLAH that He should give her body the strength to respond to the medication, that He should somehow miraculously heal her
of this disease and Inshallah grant her a healthy and long life (AMEEN)
Please, please pass this message on to as many Muslim brothers and Sisters as you can. If even ten percent of you would remember to pray
for my daughter then it would mean a lot for us. Your duas and Allah's mercy is our ONLY hope.
Thank You,
Your Sister
Parveen

My niece was diagnose with Ewing Sarcoma about a year ago, a kind of bone cancer which attacks kids in the age range of 10-22. She had completed her chemotherapy but the result is not very favorable. She is currently going through the radiotherapy. I suggest that together with conventional treatment, doing rukiya from the sunnah.
One example, the wife of Prophet, A`ishah (r.a.) reported that the Prophet (s.a.w) used to recite the following du`a as ruqyah:
ÇãÍ ÇáÈÇÓ ÑÈ ÇáäÇÓ ÈíÏß ÇáÔÝÇÁ áÇ ßÇÔÝ áå ÅáÇ ÃäÊ
Imsahi al-ba`s rabb al-nas, biyadika al-shifa` la kashif lahu illa anta (Remove the trouble, O the Lord of the people, the cure is in Your Hands, and there is none except You who can remove it (the disease). [Bukhari]
My dua to those who contracted this disease, may Allah cure you from the disease and give you strength to go through the pain and suffering and bestow patience to all your families. Ameen.

Assalam o alaikum,
Not easy. Not easy at all. I too lost my baby nephew some time back. It was the harshest of those harsh realities honestly. Only the night before the baby's grandmother had very confidently said that the baby looks so ready to go home masha Allah. He did. Only that he was not with us. The only time my sister touched him was when he was dead.
Abu Rasheed, Allah sends us to this word a rizq fixed for us. That rizq cannot increase. And it cannot decrease. And once it is consumed, we must leave. What we must realise though that that rizq is all ours and nobody else can have it. May Allah help us make the best use of our share of rizq.
And may Allah bless you all with patience and may the little girl be among those insha Allah who open the gates of Paradise for their parents.
Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhe Raji'oon.
