Brothers section ????

But you know, brother Abuz Zubair, that in some Muslim countries - Mauritania, Mali and southern Algeria - men wear Hijaab (actually: veils for their faces) and women not! Maybe we have some of that folk here :D

Possible. I realise there are many Abus' here. So now , the non-Abus can capitalise on getting the Abus advice about manly issues. :D

I second the suggestion for an exclusive brother's section. It occurs to me when I'm responsible for handling my sick niece. Even though we are mahram but there are certain things we shy away from doing in front of a mahram.

Another thing to consider is that shyness and haya' applies to both men and women. We always think of haya' is only associated with women. There's one hadith which states that "The Prophet (SAW) is more shy than the virgin hiding away in her own room. If he saw something he disliked, we would know it only from his facial expression." [Bukhari/Muslim]

Another hadith about an Ansari who was admonishing his brother for being too shy by saying: "You are very shy, and I am afraid that might harm you." The Prophet (SAW) heard this and he said: "Leave him, for haya' is (a part) of faith." [Bukhari]

I can think of a few things that I would not discuss infront of any women. You guys may have a few as well.

It would be great to have a brothers only section. Jazaka Allah Kheir.

perhaps the moderators can some how display the "Brother s section" as part of the main forum...

for example, you dont have to log in to see that there exists a sister s section as part of the main forum---where as to see that a brother s section EVEN exists, you have to log in to your account and then it shows that there is a brother s section...
