question regarding imam ibn hajar asqalani

Akhi Abu Zubair could you clarify the position of Imam ibn haja asqalani and his supposed "asharism". Is it true that he had contradictory opinions regarding tafwid al-mana? could you give some examples where necessary.

Is it true that Imam ibn hajar also related the supposed incident about shaykh Ibn Taymiya (when he stepped down from the minbar)?I was talking to someone and the person mentioned this supposed incident,and I told him that it was not authentically attributed to ibn batooda,and he replyed by saying that sh Ibn Hajar has written about the same incident suposedly reported to him through one of the students of shaykh Ibn Taymiya.

Also the same person told me that shaykh Ibn Hajar was also very critical of Shaykh Ibn Taymiya with regards to his position on tawasull, is that true?
