“And fight the pagans all together as they fight you all together but know that
Allah is with those who are pious.”
Surah At-Taubah, Verse 36

"Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into the hearts of the enemies."
Surah Anfaal, Verse 60

“But when the forbidden months are passed then fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them and seize them beleaguer them and lie in wait in every stratagem (in war) but if they repent establish regular prayers and pay zakat (alms to the poor) then open the way for them, for Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful.”
Surah At-Taubah, Verse 5

“And leave not alone those who take their religion as play and amusement…”
Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 70

“Do you consider the giving of drink to the pilgrims or maintaining of the Sacred mosque not equal to those who believe in Allah and the last days and strive with might and means in the cause of Allah they are not equal in the sight of Allah and Allah guides not those who do wrong.”

“Those who believed and fought emigrated and strove hard and fought in Allahs cause With their wealth and lives have the highest rank in the sight of Allah. They are the people who will achieve salvation.”

“O ye who believe! What is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life as compared with the Hereafter.”

"And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine. And if anyone puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is (Allah) for him."

“O Prophet ! Strive hard against the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them.”

“The Kuffar wish, if ye were negligent of your arms and your baggage, to assault you in a single rush.”

“Did ye think that ye would enter Jannah without Allah testing those of you who fought hard in His Cause and remained steadfast?”

"Or think ye that ye shall be abandoned, as though Allah did not know those among you who strive with might and main, and take none for friends and protectors except Allah, His Apostle, and the community of Mu,mineen?”

“Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, ‘We believe’, and that they will not be tested?”“We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false.”
(29 : 2-3)

“Those who believe fight in the Cause of Allah.” (

“Say: if it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline; or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Apostle, or the striving in His Cause; - then wait until Allah brings about His Decision: And Allah guides not the rebellious.”
(9 : 24)

“Allah hath purchased of the Mu,mineen their persons and their goods; for theirs in return is the Garden of Paradise: They fight in His Cause, and slay and are slain; a promise binding on Him in Truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Quraan: And who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? Then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: That is the achievement supreme.”
(9 : 111)

“To him who fighteth in the Cause of Allah, - whether he is slain or gets victory - soon shall We give him a reward of great value.”
