A scientific dissent from Darwinism What we see today is a number scientific discoveries that are opening up the eyes of more and more scientists to say ‘I can no longer believe that pure naturalist processes can account for the origin and diversity of life.
The challenges to Darwin’s theory of evolution have lead more the 600 scientists with PhDs from major universities, through the world to sign a document entitled ‘A scientific dissent from Darwinism’ It reads in part; ‘We are sceptical of the claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life. Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged’
These are scientists from universities like Stanford, Berkley, university of Chicago, Cambridge etc. who have looked hard at the evidences and have walked away saying ‘I am not convinced’

Re: A scientific dissent from Darwinism MMM probabley not all, However, point being,,, people are of the view that ALL scientists accepts evolution.

Re: A scientific dissent from Darwinism Must really suck to be Usama Hasan... well, at least I see he still has his Salafi sense of timing.

"One of the greatest distinctions of the Salaf was indicated by ibn al-Haaj when he said words to the effect, 'In the days of the Salaf, when the masses would introduce an innovation, the scholars would take it upon themselves to expose its falsehood. As for the scholars of the Khalaf, you will find that when someone from the masses, the rulers, or the wealthy introduce an innovation, the scholars would take it upon themselves to encourage it, defend it and justify it.'
I say: he spoke most truthfully. If any of our rulers or wealthy people would like, then let him try to introduce some innovation, and then seek help from the scholars and the ascetics. He will find them rushing as fast as they can to encourage it and to distort the Book and Sunnah in order to beautify it, and to declare any who would rebut it a heretic or disbeliever, and perhaps the most pious of them is the one who takes it upon himself to remain silent. Truly, to Allah we belong and to Him we will return!" [Sh. Abd al-Rahman b. Yahya al-Mu'allimi, Kitab al-Ibadah (pp. 210-211)]

Re: A scientific dissent from Darwinism Asharee Salafe should be on the list of those being reminded too.
Do they not then consider the Quran carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions (Quran 4:82)
'Ibn Taymiyyah Against the Logicians' p. 114:
'What truth there lies in logic can be known without the logicians'
