Alhamdulillah our respected brother Abu Naim has given me a good idea to start a thread that will expose the Pseudo-Salafis. Haris Hammam started a thread with the express intention to slander and disparage the elders of Diyuband. I think it is a waste of time to refute each and every little thing Haris Hammam digs out of the dustbin. Instead, it will definitely be more beneficial if I simply start a thread where other knowledgable brothers can contribute to exposing the major flaws in the pseudo salafi aqeeda and manhaj.

    wonderful thread!

Let me start by mentioning a hadeeth of Rasoolullah

Narrated ibn Umar: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Our Allah send blessing upon our Syria, Our Allah send blessing upon our Yemen." (The people) said: "O messenger of Allah and upon our Najd?" (He) said: "Our Allah send blessing upon our Syria, Our Allah send blessing upon our Yemen" (The people) said: "O messenger of Allah and upon our Najd?" (He) said the third time: "There (in Najd) will be earthquakes and tribulations and from there will come out the horn of satan" (Saheeh Bukhari)

Najd is the region of central Arabia situated directly east of Madinah. It is here the obscurant form of anthropomorphism regenerated itself and took flight. The origin of the modern day Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has its roots in this land, its capital Riyadh is situated here as well.

The root of rebellion, dischord, and treachery has always been here in Najd. Musaylma the Kadhdhab arose from this land, as did the ridda of the tribes which refused to hand over zaka'at to the first khaleefah

It was in this region, the border areas between modern day Iraq and Saudi Arabia, where the great tribulation of the khawarij arose:

‏هل سمعت النبي ‏ ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ ‏يقول في ‏ ‏الخوارج ‏ ‏شيئا قال سمعته يقول وأهوى بيده قبل ‏ ‏العراق ‏ ‏يخرج منه قوم يقرءون القرآن لا يجاوز ‏ ‏تراقيهم يمرقون من الإسلام مروق السهم من الرمية

Narrated Yusair ibn Amr that he asked Sahl ibn Hunaif: Did you hear the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم saying anything about the Khawarij?" He said, "I heard him saying while pointing his hand towards Iraq. "There will appear in it (i.e, Iraq) some people who will recite the Qur'an but it will not go beyond their throats, and they will go out from (leave) Islam as an arrow darts through the game's body." (Saheeh Bukhari)

This was also the region where the prince of martyrs, Sayyidina Hussain رضى الله عنه was martyred by the tyrant Yazeed.

In modern times, this is the land where the Wahhabi/Salafi movement has taken root.

In 1924, the Wahhabi army entered the city of Ta’if, plundering it for three days. The chief qadi and the ulema were dragged from their houses and slaughtered, while several hundred other civilians lost their lives. (Ibn Hizlul, Tarikh Muluk Al Sa‘ud [Riyadh, 1961], pp.151-3)

Khawarij are those people who believe the people who believe in La ilaha illa Allah are still infidels on account of their major sins (which means not following the manhaj of the khawarij). Thus in their eyes it is no sin to kill another Muslim. Thus the sign of the khawarij is their zeal for killing other Muslims. This has been demonstrated by the horrific events of 1924 which shocked the Muslim world, the year when the Ottoman caliphate was ended and the rise of the Najdi/Wahhabis was in its ascendancy.

Anas ibn Malik narrates that he heard the messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم say: "Verily my ummah will never collectively agree upon a misguidance, so if any of you should see differing stick with the Sawad al-'Azam (the great majority)
    (Sunan ibn Majah)

The pseudo-Salafi manhaj and aqeeda is only dominant in one part of the world, Najd and parts of southern Iraq, most notably the port city of Basra (coincidentally the region where the khawarij and the horn of satan are to said to come from). Apart from this region, in the rest of the Muslim world they are a minority.

Now that we have a general outline and history of this group as it emerged and what are some of their signs which Rasoolullah صلى الله عليه وسلم warned us about, we can now proceed to address the topic of the internal conflict in the aqeeda and manhaj of the salafis

    lol at nooruddeen al-ashari, al-kullaabee, al-falsafee, muhib-ul-yunaaniyeen-al-looteeyeen.

I justify him being a greek lootee lover as he has more love for philosophical arguments of the queer, pederast ancient Greeks than for the aqeedah of the salaf and that which the Imaam of Sunnah, Imaam Ahmad championed.

    Go make taqleed of Aristotle

The Salafi Internal Conflict in the Matter of Tawassul

Albani, the foremost authority of hadeeth in modern times among the pseudo-salafis, admits in his book on Tawassul that both Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمة الله عليه and Imam Shawkani allowed for tawassul through the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم

"Even though some of them have been allowed by some of the Imams, so for instance Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal allowed tawassul through the Prophet alone, and others such as Imam ash-Shawkani allowed tawassul through his and through others from the Prophets and the righteous."

*Tawassul is not calling upon the Prophet صلى لله عليه وسلم for help, it is calling upon the Prophet to supplicate on one's behalf to Allah.
