just because of some hadith + superstition.

A Dog is with the peopel in the cave, and also can train dogs and falcons to catch food for you.

I personally do not like to touch dogs too much, they are smelly creatures, but they are great fun if you have enough land, like a sheep dog, or a sled dog, or if you have a nice property, can have a couple of dogs.
They are also good with children.

I do not like small dogs, i think they have been bred badly, and should not be that small.

    بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Scholars rely on the Hadeeth in which Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said that if one dog licked someone's plate, let him wash it seven times and one of them is by dust. This hadeeth is authentic and strong proof that dogs are impure because only impurity are commanded to be washed and if the tongue is impure then by default everything else is as well.

Dogs are allowed to obtain in certain cases such like hunting, guarding when its needed, guiding blind man and etc. Whoever own a dog for no valid reason then his reward is decreased by two Qiraats every day.

That is a nonsense sentence, and bad logic.

other than that though, i think dogs shouldn't be kept as "do nothing" pets, dogs love to work, they love to be active, they should not be kept as idle pets.
    That's what cats are for.
So i agree with the rest of what you say.

    My beloved brother,

Indeed, the most thing I despise is when I hear a layperson speak without knowledge thinking that he is a scholar!!

Subhan Allah, Imam Al-Shafie. Abu Hanifah and Ahmad bin Hanbal say nonsense and have bad logic!! I am sure if they knew that you will be born one day that they have busied themselves with trade instead of knowledge!!

It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever keeps a dog, except a dog for herding livestock or a dog that is trained for hunting, two qiraats will be deducted from his reward each day.” [Bukhaari: 5163 and Muslim: 1574]

You should know, May Allah forgive you, that if one has no knowledge then he need to abstain from stating views!! Furthermore, be warned as tongues are a reason for having people thrown in hell-fire while those who control their tongues unware of.

In religion, either you speak of knowledge or you remain silent. If you consider yourself from people of knowledge then let us know your level in Arabic, Usool of Fiqh, Usool of tafseer , Usool of hadeeth and Fiqh and who is the Shaikh you studied under so that we give you your rank that you deserve inshallah as Aisha (رضي الله عنها) advised.

you said, a dog's tongue is dirty, therefore by default, the whole dog is dirty.

that is like saying, someones anus is dirty, therefore the whole person is dirty.

this is jewish culture of rabbis and scholars.
The priests bishops also had this.

i do not idolize idols of shaikhs, mullahs and scholars.

    but thanks anyway.

what we said is based on Usool and principles and that is called Qiyaas. On the other hand, the example you offered is what is considered in the Usool invalid Qiyaas due to dissimilarity.

As I said, please refrain from stating what is based on personal thoughts as this is religion. I know and certain that you say it out of good intention but as my shaikh used to say: the rood to hell-fire is full with good intentions. So, when you do not know then ask and learn and avoid issuing statements nad discuss what is beyond your knowledge.

Did not you see, if you studied mechanical Engineering then one person who studied commerce came arguing you with mechanic issues, you will be neglect him and reject what he says!. If that is in secular knowledge then what about knowledge of your religion (smile).

No one said idolize anyone and this proves that you are layperson but decievd by your own thoughts that you know and equal in knowledge to everyone else!!

All what we asked you to do is to remain silent when you do not know because indeed you do not know!!

    and you are welcome always.

Everyone knows you wash a plate if a dog licked it.
Peoples mothers tell them this when they are children.
"dog is dirty, don't let it lick you"
"wash your hands after you touch the dog"
you do not need fiqh with regards to a DOG.

You put shaikhs and scholars up on a pedastal, and idolize them.

BUt what woudl i know, i don't have a brain!
