Default Things that nullify your Salah within each madhab?

    Assalamu 'alaykum,

I'm looking for information about things that nullify your Salah. This in the context of each madhab (Maliki, Shafi'ee, Hanafi & Hanbali). So for example, in the Shafi'ee-madhab there will be other things that nullify your Salah than in the Hanbali madhab. I'm interested in those differences and some list or what that shows the nullifiers in each madhab.

I hope someone can help me out, insha Allah!

    Wa salam.

    Wa alaikum as Salaam,

In the Maliki madhhab, there are nineteen acts which invalidate the Salat. This is detailed by the famous metered verse poem of Imam Ibn 'Ashir (rahimahullah), which has been published and expounded upon in the primary fiqh text The Guiding Helper (pages 127-129). Here are the two divisions:

    Invalidated if done intentionally -

    (1) skipping one of the sixteen wajib acts in the salat,
    (2) purposely omitting a stressed sunna of the salat,
    (3) performing a wajib physical act more times than is required,
    (4) eating,
    (5) drinking,
    (6) purposely vomiting,
    (7) speaking a word or more not resembling the words of salat,
    (8) intentionally making sounds not resembling words in prayer,
    (9) saying the taslim when one is unsure about whether one prayed enough rakats.

Invalidated even if done by mistake or unintentionally -

    (10) moving around excessively and not standing still, not including minor movements,
    (11) getting a stain of impurity on the clothes,
    (12) breaking one's state of ablution,
    (13) laughing out-loud, must restart the prayer,
    (14) becoming exposed during the prayer,
    (15) turning one's chest ninety degrees away from the Qibla,
    (16) being occupied away from a wajib act in prayer if the pain persists for a long period of time,
    (17) remembering that one has not prayed a previous wajib prayer,
    (18) not prostrating two prostrations of forgetfulness before the taslim after missing three or more stressed sunnas,
    (19) doubling the rakats of prayer.

According to the Maliki scholars who have derived these principles based on the evidences, these are the acts which invalidate the prayer and anything other than these nineteen DO NOT invalidate it. I hope that this has satisfied what you were looking for, at least when it comes to the view of one of the madhhabs. Wa Allahu A'lam.

    Assalaamu Alaikum.

I also want to know about each of these schools- Hanafi, Shafi, Hanbali, Salafi, Ahjl-e-Hadith, Wahabi.
Also, what are the wajibs in each?
