    she is young and naive.

    Im not sure whats worse.
The content of the article or the way muslims speak to one another.

    YOUR ONE UMMAH!
    ACT LIKE IT!
Your supose to give your sister the benifit of the doubt until its proven otherwise.
Information from the kuffar slagging off a sister is not proof enough for you to slander the sister too.

My sincere apologies for all those who had solid knowledge about the sister before speaking.
For those who spoke without knowledge, my harshness was intended.

There was a time when hardly any one was arrested, watched, etc. Young muslims on the net messed around...said whatever they wanted on the net.
It was stupid, but their actions arent the same as if someone was to do it now, in the current circumstances.

Can anyone tell me the last time Lyrical T wrote any poetry?
What are the dates for the last few poems she wrote and what were they?
Seriously I'd like someone to find out...lets see just how currupt this sentence is...
how can you defeat a man, that looks down the barral of your gun...and sees the Gates of Jannah...

    Bismillah

Ukthi it's not a matter of being sorry or meaning harm or not, look at the type of stuff she wrote. It's hardly without any, how can I express this? It's hardly without any meaning behind it or emotion. I too remember her from various forums, and they seemed to be expressions of belief and emotion. So how can she just be sorry and khalas? I am not incriminating her, but I am saying this is what the issue boils down too, people say and make crazy statements or compose things of a nature that will get them attention and then when it finally does they want to wash their hands of it, and we are all mean't to say 'im sure they mean't no harm'. Maybe not but they still expressed some rather zealous emotions and beliefs, and thus ended up in dire straights.

This to me is where the whole problem lies, when you have the youth thinking they can do this and then 'oh Allaah will protect me bruv' and then when it ends up in court, they pleading 'no harm was meant' by any of it. Well Im sorry harm or no harm, this sort of stuff ends in trouble and trials in various forms.

So I agree with the brother abandoned mind the youth should wise up and stop with these games. There for example no need to write poetry of that nature and post it on forums, I mean look at her now may Allaah ease her affair sat in a kaffir court looking at serious charges may Allaah help her.

Allaahu Alaam I just find the whole thing sad, that she had zeal and let herself get carried away. I am not saying don't be concerned for the ummah but use common sense. How will she ever find any form of employment or education after this? When she has been convicted under the 'terrorism act'? How will she ever travel anywhere? How will it effect her family? How will she survive if she ends up in prison may Allaah avert this ameen. So many things and yet all we can say is ' I am sure she is sorry' as if the taghut care if your sorry or not.

But also we should fear Allaah more than anyone and know that they plot and allah plots and he is the best of planners, and the best disposer of affairs and is a guardian to the believers.

I agree akhee but what's the point of us discussing her faults

We’re all in agreement what she wrote was wrong, she even admits herself that it was meaningless and I’m pretty sure she regrets it

We should be a bit more merciful towards her, she made a mistake we all do

I pray that Allaah forgives her and grants her ease aameen

Here are my thoughts on it (very briefly):

It is bad that she wrote stupid and pointless stuff, that got her in trouble.

It is worse that she is a product of irresponsible youngsters who have created this kind of culture that encourages people to do stupid things. I blame them first and foremost for getting her into this mess, just as I blame the irresponsible Muftis for giving fatwas that stealing from the kuffar is Halal, which resulted in many good brothers with a lot of potential getting banged up for silly things. These 'brothers' won't give two hoots about this Mulsim woman, who is a product of theirs. Kafirs are the ones who will do anything for her or her family!

It is even worse, appalling and OUTRAGEOUS that she gets convicted for SILLY things, things that an average racist BNP or Combat18 idiot would do in his spare time, but never get charged, let alone get convicted, and on top of that, for a terrorist offence!

The worst of all is the fact that the Muslims in Britain still haven't come out on the streets. If it was the black community, whole of Brixton would be on fire. (AND NO I AM NOT SUGGESTING THAT WE SHOULD PUT LONDON ON FIRE, I AM JUST MAKING A FLIPPING POINT, YOU RACIST THUGS, MASQUERADING AS MET POLICE!)

Ukthi i am not saying she has faults na'am we all make mistakes but rather the whole point is her actions have lead her into this mess, and it could have been avoided. Also lets be real, she wasn't saying it was 'meaningless' when she was writting it for her fan audiance on various forums, but rather when it comes to the crunch she says this. Whats the point then? Why not just save it and not do it in the first place?

I haven't read any of the poems that this sister allegedly wrote, so I cannot speak as to their content. But what is the worst the sister could have written? Praise of so-called martyrdom operations and bin Laden? Whether one agrees or disagrees with these things, does it really justify imprisoning someone? What happened to the free speech that the West claims to be in support of? Is this justice?

I don't want to comment specifically on content but what I will say is some of it was close to the bone in my opinion.

and now it is too late
