The worst of all is the fact that the Muslims in Britain still haven't come out on the streets
So we come to the streets every time someone wants to make poems of killing people?
Who's fault is it? Im with the sis all the way 100% but who's fault is it ?
Rules are very simple in uk. Dont write peoms of killing people and youll be fine.
Yeah maybe 30 yrs they will kick us all out of uk but untill then things are very simple. Don't do stupid things.
I can give a 1hour khutba on the atrocity's of America and uk and how they kill babys and rape women, i can go on marches with posters saying stop british rapeing of women.
I can make a charity that sends money to Chechen poor family's , sure ill be raided but as soon as im seen as clean i can still send money to Chechnya.
Things are very simple in uk, don't take the mick and you'll be all right.
sympathy should go to her parents not her.

Na'am ukthi and also I remember on some of the forums people expressing such views to her, like saying perhaps you should be careful, but it seems she was intent on posting this type of stuff so we shouldn't blame ourselves too much.
I suppose in future we could warn and use this as an example.

My thoughts, v briefly.
I feel very sorry for the sister and the family. I am sure prison and court are horrible experiences. In the post 7/7 world however, a Muslim should not be so naive. It isn't as if those poems were mild or ambiguous that one can expect a jury to believe a "I wrote it... just" excuse.
Bros and sisters have to wise up. It is not helping the jihaad to post this stuff on the net, and rather it hinders the da'wah.
Yes the sister alone is not to blame, but I think there should be a lot less focus Abu Z in blaming "the bros". The sister was 23, not 13.
I also disagree that it will be the kaafirs who are there for her. It will be those brothers and sisters who supported her when she was at Bronzefield and when she was under house arrest on bail.
I never knew the sister, but that could have been any one of us 5-10 years ago. But we are living in 2007, and Muslims really should wise up.
It's like those s.london boys currently on trial over their camping trips. In 2006! When will people wake up and smell the coffee? You can't say "Well a kaafir could post stuff praising Hitler's ideology and not get arrested" Sure they could. They aren't Muslims, so the same rules don't apply. We might not be able to change that fact, but at least we should have the sense to acknowledge it.
P.S. Umm Abdullah, if u right click my lovely avatar masha'Allah, you should be able to "save image as.."

No one is denying she did stupid things, but the thing we all forget is that Muslim kids aren't the only kids who do stupid things.
White kids also do stupid things. Black kids also do stupid things. However, they never make it to the news headlines. They never get charged with terror offences. And they are hardly ever convicted.
All rules are created specifically to hit the Muslims with, and we accept such treatment directed at us without thinking twice!
If a person did something stupid, treat him/her like all stupid people.
The same goes for the Mojos with terror posters. If they were white kids doing it, they would never make it to the news, and they will be out of prison after 3-4 months... Yet, some of these Muslims are given EIGHT to NINE YEARS for carrying a stupid placard!
As I said, if it was the black community, things would have been different. Pakis are too naive and timid.

Nuggets of worldly wisdom
Nugget No. #34:
Young people do stupid things.
And I say that as a young person.
Am I right or am I right?

"If you speak, then consider your words, articulate your speech and make clear what you intend; do not allow them to carry a number of meanings, and do not use words that may be misunderstood, or words that are ambiguous and will need further explanations and clarifications, for your opponent will not remember your explanation, and if his heart is diseased he will release your words and direct them where he pleases." - al-Maqdisi... wise words.

As Salaam 3alaikum
Na'am ackhi I agree however the logic is the muslim youth doing stupid things could end up with them strapping explosives to themselves (in the extreme of course). Where as the white kid or black kid may end up in drugs or other things that generally effect them and on a small scale their community. In their eyes the danger of muslim kids doing stupid things is much more great due to the nature of those actions they may carry out.

White kids, in fact, white adults are responsible for A LOT more... I don't know if you remember (or even know) if a couple of BNP guys who were caught with explosives and the rest of the material, etc... How much publicity did that create? What sentence did they receive? Then imagine what would happen if they were Muslims.
This is the point.

But Abu Z, what you're saying should be understood already. What were they convicted under? The firearms act! So Muslims writing about guns get arrested under the Prevention of terrorism act, and white kaafirs who amass an arsenal of weapons are arrested under the Firearms Act.
Totally agree that Muslims need to get off their rear ends and make that inequality known.

The sister was warned on the many forums that she was a member of.
But, I wonder if the author of the hymms that the christians belt out on a sunday; were put in jail for their rousing lyrics.
Deeds are your money on the day of judgement , make sure you collect plenty now.
