    A Letter from the*******Imprisoned Shaykh Nāsir al-Fahd

    At-Tibyān Publications

    Shawwāl, 1425 H

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

"Praise be to Allāh, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allāh, to proceed:

    Springing from Allāh’s saying:

“But they never lost heart for that which did befall them in Allah\'s Way, nor did they weaken nor degrade themselves. And Allah loves As-Sabirin.”

...I write these words, and I declare before that, that I have dug a grave in my cell, and divorced this world thrice and have cut any link between it and me; and after this I say, and rely upon Allāh and seek His help..."

    ---

And Shaykh Nāsir al-Fahd said: “And may Allaah reward all those who help spread, print and publish this on the internet and media channels.”

what a disgrase has befallen the muslims that their shuyookh have been imprisoned along with their wifes, mothers, sisters and doughters and still a group of them refuse to fight.

Do we really fear death that much,

*******well we should remember then that saif ul LLAH Khalid ibn Waleed (r 'a) fought more battles then you can count with your hands twice over, and still died in his bed of old age, without an inch of his body not being inflicted with a wund he got from the battlefield

and what about Saif ul Islam*******Samir Saleh Abdullah Al-Suwailem aka Khattab (ra) of sheeshaan, 15 years under the missile bombs and bullets of the enemy, he fought more battles and wars then youi can learn about, and still died of poisoning.

Death will come to you whether you ar in the battlefield or in the toilet.

May ALLAH free our imaams and give us the ability to protect them and the muslims amin

Fear ALLAH as HE ought to be Feared

A SIMILAR QUESTION WAS ASKED BY ANOTHER BROTHER ON TIBYANS*******MESSAGEBOARD:*******

I just wanted to know if this letter has been verified to be authentic? Because wouldn't the Saudi government make sure, the Shaykh does not have any outside contact?

    ------------------------------

*******We know that Shaykh Aboo Muhammad al-Maqdisee (fa) is also in similar situations, and then a Naseehah came from him to az-Zarqaawee, and people thought it was not authentic- but then, in a few weeks, his official site www.Tawhed.ws hosted the Naseehah also. And regularly, he leaks out many writings, regardless of how much the mushrikoon hate it.

So just because he is in prison, doesn't mean that the apostates can manage to keep back what Allaah wills to be known- and it should be remembered, the letter was written a very long time ago, about ten months- so it took that much time, but with the Permission of Allaah, and praise is to Him, it was made public, Wallaahu Ghaalib 'alaa Amrihi.

Also, if you read the arabic of the letter, and if you are familiar with reading the writings of Shaykh Naasir, you will see that it is the same grammar style, same usage of words, and same flowing and feeling.

May Allaah hasten the release of our 'Ulamaa, our Shuyookh, our fathers, brothers, and sons, and mothers and sisters. May Allaah have mercy upon them while they are in their prisons, and make them firm upon Tawheed and Sabr.

Whist it is true that it may be possible to leak letters out of prison, I still find it very hard to believe that the letter is from Sh Nasir.

Firstly, I wonder if any of the brothers have ever seen Sh Nasir’s (and that of other Mashaikh) recantation of their previous opinions. If you haven’t then check this out for Sheikh Nasir:

    http://www.murajaat.com/trajuaat_fak...eo/Fahid_1.asf

    Or read the whole transcript:

    http://www.murajaat.com/Read/Al-Fahed_read.htm

Then please tell us, is there any sign of compulsion, for which they can be excused? Even if they were compelled, is it permissible for them to say what they said and act as they did? Refer to Sh Abu Baseer’s article here:

    http://www.abubaseer.bizland.com/ref...n/read/f57.doc

If they were compelled, then it was enough for them to give yes/no answers. They did not need to elaborate on anything.

If they were compelled, why did Sh Nasir start off the program swearing by Allah (!) that he requested for this interview to be arranged? Swearing by Allah on something false is called Yameen Ghamus because it lands the person straight into the Hellfire, so why would Sh Nasir lie swearing in Allah’s name, when he hasn’t even been asked to do so?

Iraq issue was the most embarrassing of all. Why did he have to call it Fitnah? He would have done no harm to himself or to anyone else by calling it Jihad. After all, Salman al-‘Awdah can openly proclaim in Makkah Towers right opp. the Haram that what is happening in Iraq is a legitimate Jihad, nay, an obligatory one! Even Qarni doesn’t refer to Iraq as a Fitnah…

To claim that the letter resembles Sh Nasir’s previous writings – even if true – is not enough as a proof to attribute the letter to Sh Nasir.

The bottom line is, the letter get posted on the internet under Sh Nasir’s name, and yet again, some of our gullible brothers take it for granted.

Perhaps he was told something like "If u dont go on TV we will imprison u, the choice is yours" So he said something like "Ok let me go on the TV". Concerning compulsion, he explained it himself.

I think this is the biggest indication about him being in compulsion, by him going even further perhaps than he was asked, and saying this nonesense.

Moreover, perhaps the word fitna can be used for in some sense. I.e. the kuffar have brought fitna, and muslims do jihad against it.

Bismillah! Alhamdulillah wa salatu wa salamu alya Rasul Allah!

As-salamu alaykum. Is it really likely that one would change the views of a lifetime so quickly unless there was compulsion?
