the best way to deal with such hate sites is to ignore them.by posting them you are playing into their hands, and advertising their filth for them.
i advise everyone not to bother having a look at their rubbish just ignore them they want people to visit so they get miore hits.
i advise the brother who posted to delete them or if the moderator sees this please delete.jazakAllah

la i think its helpful.
i have no intention of viewing them
but the fact that i know their names now, i can avoid them insha Allah...
n thats good masha Allah
how can you defeat a man, that looks down the barral of your gun...and sees the Gates of Jannah...
helpfull,i dont think so there are hudereds of anti islamic sites that we dont know of does this mean we should list all of them so we know to avoid them ?not at all.If we dont know of them we will be avoiding them, by posting the addresses we will just be inadvertantly advertising them.
And the kuffar could easily post these sites on to muslim forums pretending to be muslim just to advertise their crap.i bet there will be alot of people checking these sites out just out of curiosity and that is what the kaafirs want.
so come on moderator delete the sites, who is the mod anyway?

but those of us with strong faith may well look at the those sites, but then completely disregard them as rubbish anyway
Asalamalaikum
I agree with Waziri these sites should not be advertised and a moderator should definately delete them. The reason being is that the more hits these sites get the higher their page rank will be when it comes to search engines like google. For example, if someone knows nothing about Islam and decides to do a google search, the sites with the most hits will show up first.
Anyways, the last time a reply was made to this thread was around two months ago, why would you revive a thread like this simonj?
I agree with Waziri as well , it's human nature to click on these sites , so we shouldn't advertise them .
No one knows who's got the strongest faith , the Shaytan is always looking for doors to enter and whisper and what not.but those of us with strong faith may well look at the those sites, but then completely disregard them as rubbish anyway
Deeds are your money on the day of judgement , make sure you collect plenty now.

Imam of the desert. Define before you opine. It's not about what you have done, it's about where you are at now.
salam bro
we should just stubbornly stick to the basics and not read this rubbish..
Umar (ra) used to pray for Iman like that of old stubborn people who are too old to change their ways
don't agree brosimonj but those of us with strong faith may well look at the those sites, but then completely disregard them as rubbish anyway
do we really know how strong we are ..
are we even fulfilling the basics that we have knowledge of..if not...why chase further knowledge and especially this useless stuff..
most of us sitting her in the west know the Sahabah would not remain here in these times..don't we..
assalaamu alaykum, this is an email i got today, maybe it might be beneficial if i post it here, if not, just ignore it
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
All paise is due to Allaah, the Exalted. And may Allaah send peace and blessings upon His slave and the seal of the Prophets and Messengers, Muhammad the son of 'Abdullaah.

Assalaamu ‘alaykum warahmatullah
This email is regarding emails sent out by people concerning websites that attack Islam or Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alayhi wasalaam). It is not permissable according to Islam, to visit these sites, nor to mention them, nor to forward emails about them (read on to find out why). This is not the proper way to handle the situation. In fact, this is exactly what the enemies of Islam want us to do. In many cases they pretend to be Muslims or friends of Islam who are supposedly "exposing" these evil websites. To those who are not familiar with the way that the search engines work on the internet, there would seem to be no problem in visiting these sites. However, nothing could be further from the truth. The more "hits" (visits) that the site gets, the higher it is going to be rated by the search engines and the higher position it will have on a search. This will help increase the chances of these websites to come up in a word search for "Islam" or "Prophet Muhammad."
Do you doubt this?
O.K. Go to www.google.com and then type in the word "Prophet Mohammed" and see how many total sites there are out there with the word "Prophet Mohammed" in them. Today (March 30, 2009) there are over 945,000 websites listed with Google.com and where do you think the position of one of the worst (prophetmohammed) is?
Today it is on page 1. I did a bit of extra research (without going to their site) and found that their site has 453 visitors a day. In just amount of hours, this forward has been circulated around to hundreds of people and I’ve received it 4 times already today.
Now, how is it that the enemy of Islam can manage to stay on the first page in the top ranking position? HOW?
Because Muslims continually send out messages like the one that you just sent and then they tell everyone to do the same thing.
And it works - for the enemy.
Imagine that out of 945,000 websites with the word "Prophet Mohammed" - the deviants and misguided and enemies of Islam are sharing the highest places.
Why?
Because of Muslims promoting the wrong message.
Can you imagine if a non-muslim wanted to know more about Islam and Prophet Muhammad and they went to google and typed in 'Prophet Mohammed' and this evil site comes up (because we've put them on th first page) and they decide to check it out. Can you see how it would turn them away from Islam?
Islam is having another reason not to promote these sites. You see many Muslims today do not really know a lot about Islam and they are easily confused by these people who know how to mistranslate or misrepresent the verses of the Quran and the hadeeth of the prophet, peace be upon him.
For the above reasons you can see why it is haram to give out these sites or to even visit them.
What should we do?
Good question:
First, when you receive email talking about these sites - DO NOT FORWARD IT TO EVERYONE ON YOUR LIST.
Second, copy this letter and then send it back to everyone on the list that comes with the email to let them know the ruling on this.
Third, begin to visit and promote the websites that are dealing with the real issues of being a Muslim in this place in these times. This is critical.
We can all make a difference. But it takes cooperation and dedication. We must not play with this subject. We must work hard at promoting the real Islam based on the Quran in the Arabic language and the authentic hadeeth.
Our prophet, peace be upon him, warned us of times like these and here we are. So, let us make an agreement to work together for Allah.
Jazakallah khair was salam alaykum,
P.S. This response has been taken from Yusuf Estes website (www.islamtomorrow.com) but I have changed a couple of things as he was answering the question on forwarding websites such as ‘answering-islam’ and them other jewish websites that attack islam [notice I DO NOT give the address]. I’m sure you guys have received that forward as well. Just be careful of forwarding such websites, our intentions may be good, but we’re doing more harm than good without realising it.
Wassalaamu 'alaykum warahmatullah

Likewise, causing splits between the Ummah and testing them in that which neither Allah nor His Messenger ordered; for example, that a persons asks: Are you Shukayli or Faraqandi, then this is falsehood, and is not from that which Allah sent down any proof for. These names neither occur in the Book of Allah, nor the Sunnah of His Messenger, nor from any narration recorded from the Salaf of this Ummah. It is obligatory upon the Muslim, when asked about this, to say: I am neither a Shukayli or Faraqandi. Rather, I am a Muslim following the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger.
