Be careful Brothers and Sisters ... It's incredible they're able to get away with doing this but I guess there's not much we can do about that ... But we can still do our part Inshallah and try not to fall into the traps of these mujrimeen.
BBC News - May setting out plans to monitor internet use in the UK
Details of internet use in the UK will have to be stored for a year to allow police and intelligence services to access it, under government plans.
Records will include people's activity on social network sites, webmail, internet phone calls and online gaming.
.... Under current legislation, communications companies must keep phone records and information about messages sent via their own email services for 12 months.
The new proposals would require UK communications companies to keep details of a much wider range of data including use of social network sites, webmail, voice calls over the internet, and gaming. Websites visited could be recorded, although pages within sites would not be.

Re: Be careful Brothers and Sisters ... BBC NEWS | UK | UK e-mail law 'attack on rights' [from 2009]
Brothers who've been arrested had their emails from years before produced in court as evidence against them. ISPs keep the emails etc on their servers. This law is not anything new, so I'm not sure what May is going on about."There is accountability in blood and money."

Re: Be careful Brothers and Sisters ... What I am more concerned about is that government agencies such as councils, the DWP, and HMRC are being allowed access to internet activity. The possibilities this creates are almost endless. There are already enough problems between home educating families and LA education departments and the Job Centre. Now it will effectively allow these institutions to spy on the children themselves as they use the internet for their education.
