Re: Daily express: Ban the hijab in britain All scam to get peoples phone numbers. Who ever sent text their number will be stored and used later on. If you have sent the text be ready to receive a call in few days asking for money for charity or may be someone selling hijabs or something like that.
These numbers are sold to advertisement companys in short.
Only valid petitions are run by gov't for example No. 10 etc.

Re: Daily express: Ban the hijab in britain Can I just add that as Muslims we should be using the correct terminology. Hijab is not correct.
Khimar, Niqab and Jilbab is what we are talking about. What the Koffar want to ban is Khimar and Niqab.
Just my pedantic opinion.

Re: Daily express: Ban the hijab in britain But they leave a scar in some communities, like soon you'll hear that a sister's niqaab was pulled of her face...like the time when Jack straw made an issue of niqaabs how many sisters complained that they would walk in the street and some random joe or stacey would come and pull off her niqaab and add a few remarks as they would do it. All this is trying to demonise our faith and way of life.......its disgusting and its gonna get worse. I mean you couldnt get any worse than introducing homosexuality to our little babes who bearly comprehend life let alone same sex relationship!:eek::eek:

Re: Daily express: Ban the hijab in britain Participating in the poll ain't going to stop it. Don't expect them to write an article to favour the Niqaab anytime soon

Re: Daily express: Ban the hijab in britain assalamu alaikum,
I agree with Arainguy, this article refers to banning the "burka". But really it is about banning the long dress i.e the jilbab/abaya, and the modest headwear i.e Khimar, plus the face veil.
So hijabis may think i'm "safe" they're not targetting me, this is about the "niqab". Well you're safe if you refer to the "hijab" as just a "headscarf" and nothing else. But if you refer to the hijab as a garment that covers your entire body excluding hands and feet then you are mistaken if you think you are not a target, you most certainly are.
I cannot imagine facing all my male relatives, neighbours etc tomorrow without a face veil on, I will move from the country i call home if it comes to that. I'll make my home elsewhere. This thing about home is where the heart is, very sentimental and true to some extent, but really home is where all the worldy attractions are. My home is where I am free to follow Allah's laws.

Re: Daily express: Ban the hijab in britain Banning of clothes of whatever kind will not happen in any country in the west soon. Why? Ba'suhum baynahum shadiid! U will see countless non-muslims lining up to defend islamic dress.

Re: Daily express: Ban the hijab in britain we are not french!
no need to be alarmed about it, let daily mail sells papers by bashing islam but a muslim woman in uk will never take off her niqaab because the kafir hates it.
like i said, we are not french.

Re: Daily express: Ban the hijab in britain U know there are more muslims in France. If they succeed in banning it in france, they might succeed in britain.
