    Default Guide Dogs in Mosques

The Muslim Law (Shari'ah) Council UK has now issued a fatwa which allows guide dogs inside mosques but not into prayer rooms.

Mohammad Shahid Raza, director of the Imams and Mosques Council UK, said: "I believe that in all new mosques such facilities for disabled people will be an essential part of their design.

"The Bilal Mosque is going to provide special provision for such guide dogs to be kept safely and securely within the mosque complex during such visits.

"Such a facility will highlight the Islamic attitude of helping disabled people and enhance the services we provide to the Muslim community." Unquote.

Do they not then consider the Quran carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions (Quran 4:82)

What happened to brothers who are supposed to help their blind brothers to navigate around masaajid?

Why do we suddenly need dogs for that?

    Allahumma, forgive my sins.

The dog is not allowed in the designated place of salah and is in a locked kennel on the grounds....

I think the article is a bit misleading. If you click on the link and watch the video you will see that the kennel for the dog is right at the entrance of the masjid premises and no where near the place where the brothers perform their salat.

Bin Baz said: 'And indeed some Mushrikun claimed that their intention from worshipping the Prophets and the pious people, and from taking idols as lords beside Allah (swt), was to bring them near to Allah (swt) and gain the intercession through them to Allah (swt), Praise and Glory be to Him. But Allah (swt) rejected that and refuted it by saying: "And they worship besides Allah (swt) things that hurt them not, nor profit them, and they say `these are our intercessors with Allah (swt)'. Say `Do you inform Allah (swt) of that which he knows not in the Heavens and on the Earth?' Glorified and Exalted be He above all that which they associate as partners with Him!"
