AT least 26 security personnel on board a military helicopter were killed when it crashed in northwestern Pakistan, security officials say.
The crash occurred on the border of the semi-autonomous Orakzai and Khyber tribal regions
20km from Peshawar, the capital of North West Frontier Province.
"An MI-17 (military) helicopter crashed due to a technical fault this afternoon at the border of Orakzai and Khyber agency. Twenty-six security personnel on board embraced shahadat (martyrdom)," a senior security official said.
Another security official also confirmed the crash and casualties and said detailed investigations are being carried out.

The Mujahidin do not need you half men, with no resolve. They do not need any advice on Jihad from scholars who are paid for and defeated. They do not need to ask if it is okay with you or if there Jihad is compatible with your thinking. No, they do not need that. They have all the wisdom and the vision that they need. Die in your rage and continue your criticism of the Mujahidin. You cannot destroy their resolve; your poisoned pins will not affect their Jihad. Nothing will affect them.
-Sheikh Al Maqdisi

Bad news for those in love of American Islam
Do they not then consider the Quran carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions (Quran 4:82)

Can wait for the pakistani army to label them all "shaheed" and release another video on youtube of their burial with trumpets and bugles playing in the background.
Pakistan has lost over 50 troops in the last two weeks and this second front hasn't even started. Looks like they are making the typical mistake of streching themselves very thin which is becoming very fruitful for the mujahideen.
Anyway, news sources are saying the taliban have claimed resposibility for downing the plane and have abducted the pilot. The military are saying it's a technical fault that killed them even though locals have confirmed that they heard light machine gun fire. Obviously its very embarrassing eitherway for the Na-Pak army.

They've done that already.
Read the article again. The OP has bolded that part.
