Preventing Violent Extremism Fund

Does anybody have any veiws on this, or have any Scholars discussed this issue? A few Masaajid in my area have applied & received the funding, and its concerning to say the least. Please Discuss without incriminating yourselves or others! Baarak Allahu Feekum.

Vast majority of the mosques in the u.k have little or no influence on their youth, these mosques are mostly run by small minded bigots from pakistan or bangladesh who will do anything to earn extra income so they can all drive mercedez benz. I am being serious, these programmes just indicate how desperate the government are. it will make no difference and many of todays youth are not as poltically naive as their parents generation.

, There is some truth with what you say fella but im not sure if the "majority" are like this.
