Bin Baz said: 'And indeed some Mushrikun claimed that their intention from worshipping the Prophets and the pious people, and from taking idols as lords beside Allah (swt), was to bring them near to Allah (swt) and gain the intercession through them to Allah (swt), Praise and Glory be to Him. But Allah (swt) rejected that and refuted it by saying: "And they worship besides Allah (swt) things that hurt them not, nor profit them, and they say `these are our intercessors with Allah (swt)'. Say `Do you inform Allah (swt) of that which he knows not in the Heavens and on the Earth?' Glorified and Exalted be He above all that which they associate as partners with Him!"

So when is the Quran-Khani?

Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah , so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.
(Surah at-Tawbah 111 - ÓæÑÉ ÇáÊæÈÉ 111 )

Allah knows best but he was one that tended to oppose 'modernising' (westernising) the country
And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the Blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them. 14:34

Re: Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Nayef dies That is because he was a traditionalist - he had as much Asabiyyah running through his veins as Abu Lahab had. However his persecution of the scholars, du'aat and mujahideen shows us his true color. He was a nationalist who believed the saudis were superior to other Arabs because they kept to their "heritage".

Re: Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Nayef dies The only thing I knew about him was that he really cared for the students of Madinah Uni and was always trying to make things easier for them and their families.

Re: Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Nayef dies Not at all...I'm actually very serious. I don't know jack about the princes. Only Waleed because he's so rich and on the news over and over again. I have no idea who they are or what they do.
Before he died, I used to hear about how he helps the students. I have friends who are students and they told me he cares and tries to help them out.
That's as far as my knowledge about the guy went.I am Adem!....I go Hard!
