    ws wr

He isnt alone in his opinion, there are others who hold it including Qardawi also who explains this.

    Some believe the hadeth:

“If one of you were to be stabbed in the head with a piece of iron it would be better for him than if he were to touch a woman whom it is not permissible for him to touch.” (Reported by al-Tabaraani; see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 5045).
is not actually Sahih and is disputed. What an Imam also told me that if there is a barrier than you can actually touch a woman as long as its without lust lol he gave me analogy with touching the private parts, wudu does not break if there is a barrier.

So far I havent found any clear evidence against it except the statement of Aisha [ra]. Allaau Alim

Im off from school by the way cuz we got a snow storm YAY!

"Do not be fooled by the one that recites the Quran for that is only words that we utter. Rather, look at the one who acts upon it." - Umar

Allah's Messenger (saws) said “O Ka’b Ibn ‘Ujrah, I seek Allah’s protection for you from the leadership of fools. There shall be rulers, whoever enters upon them, then aids them in their oppression and validates their lies, then he is not from me nor I from him, and he shall not be admitted to the Hawd..." you shouldnt jump to conclusions... at one of his lectures at TDC, someone asked him about the "infamous" incident that occurred, and he stated essentially that he did so because he felt "on the spot" and made a split-second decision.

afterwards, he asked Shaykh Salah as-Sawi about what he did, and shaykh Salah told him, "Just make istighfar."

I think this should clear up the big fuss that was made up about that matter. He made a slip. He realizes it. He's made istighfar. May Allah forgive us and him all our faults

jazaakAllaah for mentioning this... many people were confused about the issue and it's great to hear what he has to say about it! may Allaah swt forgive us all, aameen.
Shaykh ibn Baaz (RAH) said: "the messenger of Allaah (sAaws) said: 'whoever Allah wants good in, He will give him knowledge in the deen'... that means that whoever doesn't learn or understand (yatafaqqah), Allah doesn't want good in him! Wa la hawla wa la quuwwata illaa bih!"
