Ok this comes in a little late as I was confused on 21st December about what to do. Curse Mayan calendar for wrongly scaring the whole world for nothing, watch the movie 2012 again and laugh or consider it alright as self-claimed “Sheikh-ul-Islam” Prof. Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri was “launched” in Pakistan on that day and after this incident we don’t need a separate doomsday.

I personally don’t like to bother about ‘conspiracy theories’ but this matter is of slightly different nature. Mr. Qadri has been a controversial character ever-since he gained popularity back in 90’s.

Tahir-ul-Qadri who went in self-exile and moved to Canada for “research” purposes is known to twist facts and manipulate his own statements as and when required.

He has done a great damage to the religion Islam ever since he got audience.

He popped up after 5 years with the agenda to save the country.


" After remaining abroad for several years and reportedly obtaining Canadian nationality, Allama Tahirul Qadri has been blamed for working to facilitate the draw-down of American and NATO forces in 2014 by raising the slogan of saving the state. According to reports, the US had suggested to Pakistan to devise strategies to delay the elections till the withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan.

The proposal was reportedly made as the US had feared that the religious or semi-religious parties could win the next elections and withdrawal of equipment through Pakistan in such an eventuality would be under threat.

The reports said that political observers are surprised that how Allama Tahirul Qadri, whose party is not registered with the Election Commission, suddenly surfaced on the scene with the slogan to save the system and the state.

Several leaders have questioned the massive expenditure incurred on the publicity campaign and live telecast of the Lahore address by Allama Tahirul Qadri. They said this expenditure cannot be met by donations by Pakistanis or sale of some property.

The guy is good at keeping his sheeps from deserting him and reflecting criticism with his slimy way of destorting truth. Also he seems to have a team that tries to take any video down that is critical of him by pressing copy right claims on yt.

And whats with this "saving the system" agenda and delaying the elections. Is is under the payroll of Zardari?

well i will admit that i am pretty astonished how this guy who is openly pro american can attract such a large following In Pakistan, a country that holds one of the strongest anti-US sentiments in the Muslim world.

Tahir-ul-Qadri has donated jewelry of his wife and daughters in law to newly established Islamabad March Fund on Thursday. Emotional scenes were witnessed during the International Workers Convention. As soon as Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri presented the entire jewelry of his family, the female workers present in the Convention also donated their jewelry. Within minutes, huge money was raised for the Islamabad March.
