Nearly all the big shots and their minions who hate this place come here to see how they are perceived by the public, because they do not allow open and unrestricted criticisms on their own platforms. I am not saying he does that. But whatever happens on IA spreads like wildfire amongst people I would never have thought would be interested in IA.
I have met people in the past who happen to be more clued up about what happens here than me.

he eventually asked Sh. Salah al-Sawi about what he did and the shaykh told him, "Look, just make tawbah."
I heard this from him myself in a lecture he was giving. I don't think there's much point in harping on it after that.

how is sh. sawi - is he still in the US? i do not know much about him or the US scene in detail but he has always struck me as someone firm
