Nearly all the big shots and their minions who hate this place come here to see how they are perceived by the public, because they do not allow open and unrestricted criticisms on their own platforms. I am not saying he does that. But whatever happens on IA spreads like wildfire amongst people I would never have thought would be interested in IA.

how is sh. sawi - is he still in the US? i do not know much about him or the US scene in detail but he has always struck me as someone firm

I don't really know him but have been blessed with the opportunity to attend some of his talks. He is - ma sha Allah - very knowledgeable, an excellent speaker, and a person of principle, wa la nuzakki alallahi ahadan.
