    Is he still imam of a masjid in East london? surely there should be a coup to get rid of this fool.

    I could understand it if his 'intellectualism' led him to respect the opinions of others, esp from madhabi/Dhahiri background - but to go down the path of modernists/neo-secularists is enough for this man not to lead anyone in prayer - Im surprised the 'salafis' allow this character to lead them.
