Personally I am very happy.
We are seeing the beheading of the salafi cyclops. The akabir are leaving.
And the deobandis are becomed sufi-ised - back to the roots of deoband.
The masses of madaris are doing halaqas of dhikr like in dar ul ulooom Bury, and people are praising ibn arabi like mawlana ashraf ali tahanwi.
countless deobandi ulema in this country are giving bay'ah to shaykh nuh.
People like shaykh riyadh ul haq and shaykh yusuf motala are propagating chishti tasawuf
Its all going wrong if ur a salafi
-
No Naveed I feel the dobandis are leaning more and more to the salafi way of thinking.
Groups like Ishaat tauheed wa sunna are gaining more and more popularity and deobandis are rejecting sufism and anything else which has no evidence from quran and sunnah to back it up.
“And say not concerning that which your tongues put forth falsely: “This is lawful and this is forbidden,” so as to invent lies against Allaah. Verily, those who invent lies against Allaah will never prosper.” [al-Nahl 16:116].
Syed Qutb (ra) when asked to seek pardon from nasser said
Verily the index finger that testifies to the oneness of Allah in prayer utterly rejects to write even one letter that endorses the rule of the tyrant

I'm really talking about the Uk.
Im surprised to hear what you say.
I know hakeem akhtar is big in karachi.
Mufti taqi uthmani has tariqa even.
So many deobandis are closet sufis its unbelievable.
Many many many of the tableeghis are bayt with shuyookh.
Shaykh Zulfiqar naqshbandis tariqa is expanding in pakistan
-
Well the way I see it the panj piris are taking over.
I was recently pleasently suprised whilst speaking to a pakistani deobandi/panj piri mufti who told me that chishti naqshabani silsila's etc have no basis in quran and sunnah and that alot of the stories in books such as fazail e amal are baseless etc etc.

ashari_salafee,
You know you wouldn't have said these words if it was an HT saying them.
There is no pressure upon ANYONE AT ALL in the UK, not even in France, to say that Hijab is debatable.
This isn't the first time I am hearing this. Brothers told me this a year ago, but I refused to believe them then, thinking it may be an exaggeration on their part, until I heard it with my own ears.
I knew something of this sort was coming two years ago when he agreed and supported Tariq Ramadan's call for moratorium on Hudud laws. I knew it was coming. But it never crossed my mind it would that it would be this ugly.
Navaid, you are clearly a bigot who cannot see his own walls falling all around him. These 'Salafi' figurehead fell because they became leaders when they weren't qualified to take up those positions. They based much of their da'wah on lies in their madkhalis days and false sense of scholarship. Then this happened.
When I saw you guys deceiving the gullible public about your ijaza nonsense, I knew one day it would all be exposed and you guys will also fall apart. And this is what is happening now with Suhayb Webb, GF Haddad, Nuh Kuller, Hamza Yusuf etc...
As far as I see it, this is nothing but the strength of the Salafiyya itself that it doesn't fall with the death of its leaders. It carries on. At the time of Imam Ahmad, virtually the entire Muslim world was forced to believe in the nonsense that you believe in, the creation of the Quran. It is only a few who save the day. And we are glad to be amongst the few, glad to hold on to the burning coal.

He came on Shariah TV a few months ago, where he said due to science advances in the future, a human could be manufactured in a lab and the Islamic scholars will need to have a serious debate if they could be considered real human beings or not.
-
These people are intellectually bankrupt. They can neither compete with the non-Muslim intellectuals, nor can they compete with an ordinary laymen holding onto the authentic creed.
We all would like to confront these people who think they are our leaders.

Salams to all, just a suggestion to abuzubair, why dont you go and talk to him? give him a call or go and visit him, if you truly want good for him and you feel that he has erred then speak to him.
salams
-
Speaking to him is not the only way. He spoke in public, so let it be known. Do not hide behind this rhetoric of 'talking in private'.

My tongue slipped regarding the salfeees, what i meant that the salafee groupings are cult like.....not the actual hanbalees/wahabees.
Lol, well i am gonna try and contact the brother and ask him. But you have made some really good points here which are quite accurate, maybe you should write an article upon the compromising that is happening. I think it may be your responsibility if you see a munkar and since you have more knowldge then us on these issues ( providing you get the time of course because you are really busy!!)
I can't take no more then 4 wives...Sorry!
