Alcohol that isn't consumed Assalamualaikum to all
I know that alcohol is haram, subhanallah, no doubt in that. But what about day-to-day products that contain alcohol. For instance Perfumes or After shaves? This are not being ingested so I'd assume it is halal? Alas I don't know. It'll help a lot if anyone would be kind enough to shed some light on this matter

Praise be to Allaah.
It is safer not to use beauty products that contain alcohol, because of the difference of opinion as to whether intoxicating substances are naajis (impure) or not. If one is forced to use them and the amount of alcohol contained is very small, then it is OK, in sha Allaah.
