Being a Good Muslim
Salam alaykom,
Have you ever wondered if you are a pious servant of Allah? I have, and I always believed that the answer is unclear. Of course, it is our ending that counts the most (the moment you die). But when I think about today, yesterday, and what I expect to do tomorrow, I always think that I am not a pious servant. I don't think it is waswas from Shaytan, the accursed one. I think it is reality. Everyday I make excuses, why I never made thikr fully or why I don't fast the sunnah siyam. Those are just the minor issues.
If you are not pious towards your parents, how can you consider yourself a pious servant of Allah?
If you don't take care of time and money wisely, how can you consider yourself a pious servant of Allah?
If you don't pray the 5 daily prayers in the masjid, (forget about being early), how can you consider yourself to be a pious servant?
How much of the Qur'an have you been made to forget?
How much sins that you used to avoid to the point people called you wierd, have you started doing as if it is nothing?
So how can you consider yourself a pious servant of Allah?

I'll tell you right now, if someone calls himself a pious servant of ALLAH.
Don't believe him.

Asslamulaikum,
Just have a glimpse of your's complete body from head to toe, You will come to know, Are you the Really servant of Allah?
When I see, I don't consider myself.
We do nothing the whole day, Do we offer 5 time prayers? No !!
Do we follow the Islamic teachings? No!!
Do we follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH )? No !!
Is our dress accordingly Islam? No, !!
Where is the Muslimhood? In us? Then?
Regards.

No one should turn round to someone and say your not a poius person, it's not a good sign that we look upon others, for all we know Allaah might love this person more than he loves us,we ask someone to reflect upon himself, give him advice, correct him when he is doing wrong, but saying your not a pious muslim will make that person go straight on the defensive.
Deeds are your money on the day of judgement , make sure you collect plenty now.
Say (O Muhammad SAW):"I am not a new thing among the Messengers (of Allâh) (i.e. I am not the first Messenger) nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am but a plain warner." (Al-Ahqaf 46:9)

Re: Being a Good Muslim
Are you good with your neighbours? You should be answering their questions on islam as currently islam/hijab etc seems to be a hot topic on the box. Have you got good manners? Are you arrogant? I hardly think piety is around anymore, may allah forgive us all,

Re: Being a Good Muslim
did you know that giving naseehah does not only mean giving sincere advice about deen?
it even includeds giving naseehah when it comes to the dunya. i believe that the biggest thing standing in my way from becoming a pious servant is my overwhelming interest of making success in this dunya. I want to meet that servant who will give me naseehah on how to make your success in this dunya not occupy you from succeeding in the akhirah.
