Salam alaykom,
Have you ever wondered if you are a pious servant of Allah? I have, and I always believed that the answer is unclear. Of course, it is our ending that counts the most (the moment you die). But when I think about today, yesterday, and what I expect to do tomorrow, I always think that I am not a pious servant. I don't think it is waswas from Shaytan, the accursed one. I think it is reality. Everyday I make excuses, why I never made thikr fully or why I don't fast the sunnah siyam. Those are just the minor issues.
If you are not pious towards your parents, how can you consider yourself a pious servant of Allah?
If you don't take care of time and money wisely, how can you consider yourself a pious servant of Allah?
If you don't pray the 5 daily prayers in the masjid, (forget about being early), how can you consider yourself to be a pious servant?
How much of the Qur'an have you been made to forget?
How much sins that you used to avoid to the point people called you wierd, have you started doing as if it is nothing?
So how can you consider yourself a pious servant of Allah?
