Tabaruk?? I came across this:
Sayyiduna Anas (radi allahu anhu) states:
"I saw that the barber was shaving the blessed head of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). The Sahaba-e-Kiraam were moving in circles around the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) with the intention that should any hair fall, then it will fall in one of their hands." (Muslim, Vol. 2, page 256)
Concerning both the above mentioned Ahadith, Sayyiduna Imam Nawawi (radi Allahu anhu) states:
"In this, there is explanation of gaining blessing from the relics of pious people. The habit and manners of Sahaba-e-Kiraam shows that they used to gain blessings from the possessions of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). They used to place the hands of Huzoor (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and gain blessings from it. They used to gain blessings from his blessed hair. They showed such respected and excellence to it that before one hair would fall anywhere, it would fall into the hands of the person in that position." (Sharah Muslim, Vol. 2, page 256)

Surah al-Baqarah:
[ ]
(248. And their Prophet said to them: "Verily! The sign of His kingdom is that there shall come to you At-Tabut, wherein is Sakinah (peace and reassurance) from your Lord and a remnant of that which Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron) left behind, carried by the angels. Verily, in this is a sign for you if you are indeed believers.)
Ath-Thawri said, "Some said that it contained a pot of manna and the remnants of the Tablets, while some others said that it contained (Moses') staff and two shoes".
Ibn Kathir says in his tafsir about this Tabut:
So they won their battles because of the barakah in the Tabut? The Children of Israel remained on the straight path for a period of time after Moses. They then innovated in the religion and some of them even worshipped the idols. Yet, there were always Prophets sent among them who would command them to work righteous deeds, refrain from doing evil and who would rule them according to the commands of the Torah. When they (Israelites) committed the evil that they committed, Allah caused their enemies to overwhelm them, and many fatalities fell among them as a consequence. Their enemies also captured a great number of them, and took over large areas of their land.
Earlier, anyone who would fight the Israelites would lose, because they had the Torah and the Tabut, which they inherited generation after generation ever since the time of Moses, who spoke to Allah directly. Yet, the Israelites kept indulging in misguidance until some king took the Tabut from them during a battle. That king also took possession of the Torah, and only a few of the Israelites who memorized it remained. The prophethood halted among their various tribes and only a pregnant woman remained of the offspring of Lavi (Levi), in whom the prophethood still appeared. Her husband had been killed, so the Israelites kept her in a house so that Allah may give her a boy, who would be their Prophet. The woman also kept invoking Allah to grant her a boy. Allah heard her pleas and gave her a boy whom she called `Shamwil' meaning `Allah has heard my pleas.' Some people said that the boy's name was Sham`un (Simeon), which also has a similar meaning.
As that boy grew, Allah raised him to be a righteous person. When he reached the age of prophethood, Allah revealed to him and commanded him to call (his people) to Him and to His Tawhid (Oneness). Shamwil called the Children of Israel (to Allah) and they asked him to appoint a king over them so that they could fight their enemies under his command. The kingship had also ended among them. Their Prophet said to them,
"What if Allah appoints a king over you, would you fulfill your vow to fight under his command''

You mentioned:
Hafidhh Ibn Kathir says:
"When Hafidhh Ibn Taymiyyah passed away some people came and gathered around him and sat close to his body to obtain blessing from him. Also a group of women came and the water that was left over after bathing him they drank to get blessing from it as Tabarruk. The left over leaves of a tree which were also used in bathing him, were distributed among themselves for the purpose of Tabarruk. Whatever touched his body, like for example handkerchief, scarf which he used wear round his neck, was sold for a large amount of money, to someone to keep as Tabarruk. People used to come day and night to his grave, and some people use to even spend the night there". [Tareek Ibn Kathir chap death of Ibn Taymiya].
Hafidhh Ibn Taymiyyah states:
"Imam Ahmed Ibn Hanbal Rahmatulah was asked Is it permitted to do Masa of Mimber of Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), to touch the Mimber for blessing. He replied Yes it is permitted. Abdullah Ibn Ummar, Saeed Ibn-ul-Musayyid, Yahya bin Saeed, and other great Scholars of Madinah used to do Masa of the Mimber".
[Iqtidat Sirratal Mustaqeem page 203].
Interesting indeed ...

Hafidhh Ibn Kathir writes:
"Khalid bin Waleed Radi-Allahu-unhu had a hat. In the hat he put two of the Prophets Sallallahu alaihi wa sallams hair. Once he was in the battle of Yarmouk. The battle got very tense. Khalids hat dropped onto the ground. He got off his horse and picked up the hat. After the war a person said to Khalid bin Waleed: 'You had a cheap hat and to pick it up during a war is not a wise thing to do'. Khalid replied: 'In that hat I had the Prophets hair, the blessing from that hair gives me victory in every war". [Tareekh Ibn-Kathir Chapter, Death of Khalid bin Waleed].
Hafiz al-'Asqalani writes:
"From the grave of Imam al-Bukhari comes a beautiful smell of fragrance, there are pillars built around the grave and when people go there they take a small amount of clay from it [for tabarruk]". [al-'Asqalani, Fath al-Bari, 'Biography of Imam al-Bukhari'].
Ibn Sa'd writes:
"'Umar ibn 'abd al-Aziz had the Prophet's (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) hair. He said: 'When I die bury me with the hair in my grave'
[Tabaqat Ibn Sa'd, chapter on 'Death of 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-Aziz'].

What is the stance of Salafi Ulama' on this issue?

and if you count Allah's favors you will not be able to number them;
most surely man is very unjust, very ungrateful."
