If Sh Akram holds al-Kawthari in high esteem it would be a cause for concern for someone like myself.

I can't make it unfortunately. I know some brothers who stick to him like the middle-finger to the index-finger - I will ask around and see what I can find out iA, that is if I can't speak to the Shaykh directly... just not sure how to sensibly approach the question... "Shaykh's tell me your aqeedah" lol just doesn't sound like a question he'd answer.
