    Default Christians & Jews under Islamic Rule

    Asalamu alaikom wramatullahi wa barakatahu,

    I am looking for a book or article(s) (preferably book) explaining the status of Christians and Jews living under Islamic rule an explanation of their rights, responsibilities to the state etc..

    It is for my dissertation so it has to be a source that I can cite insha'Allah and that I will be able to find a hard copy of for reference if need be.

    any suggestions would be much appreciated, JazakomAllahu khayr

    there are many books that address this subject. If you google books about Andalusia, you will find many books. May Allah assist you in your quest of knowledge.
