Question about middle east myth and legend Hello My Friends,
I went to a Catholic High School in South Louisiana, Great Satan (usa). I remember one of my Theology teachers telling a story about a myth in the Middle East. IT was about a war going on and they were fighting with bow and arrows. They were using poison snake venom on the tip of the arrows. One day the Father told the son to kill a certain snake because it was not producing anymore venom. The Son told his Father "That is the one we should keep". The son was later "whisked" away and came back with a wand that did magic and Peace came upon these people.
My question is: Does anyone know or have heard of this before??
I can relate to it because I was raised at the root of war and root of terrorism on a legalized cockfighting farm where Humans mimic and think like animals in the Great Satan (usa).

Where do you stand on the issue of humans mimicing parrots?

I had to mention the cockfighting. I could relate to this myth and legend with the snakes because of being raised on legalized cockfighting farm.
I don't know much about "parrots" but I believe that the parrots are mimicing Humans and not the other way around. Therefore it is not the root of war and root of terrorism.
