Dear Sir,

I am very bewilered as to why what feels as if the muslim world is wanting to create a jihad (crusade) against the west.

Within our society i must agree that there is what can be considered by society both here and in the muslim world as moraly wrong such as porn, drugs etc. But that is the problem with a free society. People have choices. As a christian this does concern me. But also what concerns me is the drachonian measures and treatement of women in muslim coutries. Every country has their own culture and their own problems. Unless people are commiting gross acts against human rights like in Iraq can we not "live and let live"?

I know that some muslim clerics claimed that the Tsunami was a punishment by Allah upon people with loose morals. But following from that could one not claim that the reason fortune and wealth shines upon the west is because Allah is with them??????

Please remember that Jews Christians and Muslims all worship essentially the same God (But we all have a slightly different angle on him)

what should concern as both even more than that is the frequency and prevalence*******of rape here in the west.*******the women here are free but to many many westerners they are aslo 'free game'.*******i think it is laughable how westerners try to appear as heroes to muslim women*******displaying 'concern' for their 'plight' as if they really care. but behind the facade of 'concern' is the desire to see muslim women burn the veil and become 'free game'!

gross acts? perhaps you mean the occupation of iraq or are you referring to peoples god given right to regain their freedom from an invader?*******and as for 'live and let live' then the war on terror has seen to it that this never happens, recently bin laden offered a truce, the resumption of peace which is tantamount to 'live and let live' this was*******rejected by the crusading christians, and so the war continues.

first of all jihad is not crusade. jihad, under the prevailing circumstances, is not against the west but against the forces of occupation who happen to be westerners.

following on from that allah could also be with the poor? he could also be with the taliban since the west despite their 'fortune' and wealth and not to mention their superior weapons and skills are unable to end the war on terror with a descisive victory?*******and besides when calamity strikes the fortunate and wealthy west they are the first to say 'there is no god' or 'how could god allow this' the apparent 'fortune' of the west is respite from allah so that you may grow in your iniquity.

the heavenly father of the christians and the elah of the jews and the allah of the muslims is the same god but we muslims hold the position that the quran is the final installment of divine revelation, the jews claim to have the old testament which we call the taurat (torah) the christians claim to have the new testament which we call the injeel (evangel)

the muslims have the 'last testament' the final installment from god and unlike the*******old and new testament*******it has never been altered and it will remain unaltered! it confirms or refutes that which came before it so anyone who believes in the torah or the bible then it is upon you to accept the last testament of god.

First of all i would like to say that yes rape does occur here in UK.

But i am sure that you would have to put your hands up and say rape does occur in the muslim world too! Nobody within my social circles has ever said they want a muslim women or that they want them as "free game". Although im sure there are Westerners who have been attracted to muslims and vica versa. For example the past King of Jordan i think was married to an American woman. Can people really help who they are attracted to? I would politely*******disagree*******with you and that Christians are not conspiring to make muslim women free game.

If a woman is raped her in the UK the support is with the woman, but i hope that you will correct me if i am wrong to suggest that in certain muslim countries what is asked is "did the woman deserve to be raped" i.e did she act in an appropiate way or show too much skin?

IN the 1990's (Gulf War) the USA and Britian invaded Iraq for the first time. My understanding on this was that Saddam was persecuting the Kuwait`s (at his trail he said that they were "dogs" and deserved to be treated so), also can can a minority group of muslims control a majority? America pulled out first because they made a "deal" with the surrounding countries.

The UK and USA would love to pull out of Iraq as it is costing them a fortune in money and lives. BUt at this moment they have to stay and ensure that the country becomes stable. They do not want to pull out and leave a country in a state of civil war.

We all know about the massacre of the muslim ethnic albains. Who stopped this? The USA and UK. Why did you not start a jihad against them then for their temporialy illegal occupatuion of that country. Please dont pick and choose. The USA and UK are not perfect but they have too at certain times make difficult decisions to*******take action*******if they feel that there are reasons enough to******* do so.

In relation to your suggestion that only Muslims worship the right form of God, i can only but disagreee with that.

And no, the old and new*******testament has not been changed constantly. These testaments have been translated into different languages (including arabic). The fact the dead sea scrools were discovered and there is inclusion within Roman history of the christain sturuggle should be enough to support that the Testaments stand up by themselves. FOr Christians the New testament is*******the new*******covenant with god ( thanks to our Messiah Jesus who was the word of God on Earth).

I do not want this to be a religous argument. I just want to give my opinion that on occasian there is need for outside help to oppressed peoples.******* We cannot have Tyranny rampant throughout the world. ( That why USA and UK opposed Hitler in WW2)
