I think the real question:
Who has the best Safar al-Hawali avatar?
With equal parts objectivity and humility, I nominate my own. You see, depending on how you choose to look at this picture, Sh. Safar can be seen as either:
(1) friendly, inviting, soft, even cuddly
or
(2) getting ready to slap some Murji', Ash'ari, or secularist with his backhand. The fact that he seems to be looking down to do so just reflects the strength of his refutations against their heresies has already brought them down to their knees.

Lol, I'd join but I don't wanna put a picture in my avatar. I could probably do like Abu Maryam and just put the name in the avatar...but it's so stretched and looks out of the ordinary.
Or I can secretly join and be your 'man on the outside.'

Can i ask, what is the use in doing this? What is being achieved? No attacks please, i'd just like to know why there is a need for this "alliance".
