Second thoughts, its more about presentation as in how its presented and the discussion directed, thats where the focus is I suppose, more so than any resources.

Walahi the situation of Islam with the youth in the west is a very tricky one. I had a good friend in the MSA who used to give dawah with me, walahi he went to university 360! HE pulled a 360! He has shaved his lyhia, and he hangs with asafileen!

As the other brother said you mean 180 degrees. And yes, I am in a very liberal and secular university. I am one of very few who can actually be spotted in a crowd as a Muslim. Most Muslim in university give in to peer pressure and become "mo's"

A good number of youth are in Islamic studies programs, they are developing some very strange understandings of Islam, and they are going to be the movers and shakers in the world. You think that these people that are on CNN, that come out, the Irshad Manjis of the world, are weirdos? There’s a whole army of them on the way. There’s a whole slew of them on the way. You think that’s wacky? You haven’t seen anything yet. The real show’s about to begin.

wallahi they wish to change our deen into this weird thing they like to call modern Christianity (i.e. just pray). if this is not enough of a reason to defend your deen then nothing is. these rand corp type of classes are really just an attack on our deen, trying to manipulate us into becomes rand muslims.

death is better then living such a humiliating life. O Allah grant us youth the confidence in your deen, instill us with knowledge and make us a weapon against these mushrikeen.
