Have you heard of

Asalamu A'laykum,

Has anyone heard of the "famous" story by the name of "majnuun layla" or layla majuun. I am not too sure which is the correct name. I've never heard of it before and thats why I'm not too sure of the name.

Abu Usamah At Thahabi briefly mentioned it, but fail to give a detailed narration for it. The lecture was on love according to the quran and sunnah.

Basically, this layla story was about a man who more or less sold his soul for the women he "loved" and his "love" for her obsessive and unhealthy in every sense of the word.

I would really love to read the full story.
