Prisoners of Holland
These prisoners are not well-known, if not unknown, outside the Netherlands, and I can't find them on any prisoner list. In this thread I have included some information on them as well as their postal addressess. Please don't forget them in your du'a! If anyone wants to know more about them, feel free to ask.
Mohammed Bouyeri

Mohammed Bouyeri (born 8 March 1978 in Amsterdam), a Dutch–Moroccan, is currently serving a life sentence without parole for the murder of Dutch film director Theo van Gogh. He holds both Dutch and Moroccan citizenship. He was a member of the Hofstad Network.
Bouyeri's trial took place over two days, 11 and 12 July, 2005, in a high-security building in Amsterdam-Osdorp. In a letter on 8 July, he announced that he would not attend the trial voluntarily. The Prosecutor demanded of the court that he be forcibly transported to the courthouse. This request was accepted by the court. Bouyeri's lawyers did attend the trial; they did not, however, ask questions or make closing statements. Bouyeri appeared before the court carrying a Qur'an under his arm. At the trial Bouyeri expressed no remorse for the murder he admitted to having done, saying to the victim's mother: "I don’t feel your pain. I don’t have any sympathy for you. I can’t feel for you because I think you’re a non-believer." and that he would have done it again. Bouyeri also argued that "in the fight of the believers against the infidels violence is approved by the prophet Muhammad".
In the Dutch law system, a Prosecutor demands a punishment in a requisitoir. Presenting the requisitoir to the court took 4 hours, at the end of which the demand was presented. It read (unabridged):
"The defendant rejects our democracy. He even wants to bring down our democracy. With violence. He is insistent. To this day. He sticks to his views with perseverance. This calls for a strong response. By literally placing him outside our democracy. This means that he will not be allowed to vote. This means deprivation of active and passive suffrage.
Taking everything into consideration, the severity of the facts, the underlying circumstances, and the personality of the defendant, I find only one punishment suitable and that is life imprisonment."
On 26 July 2005, Bouyeri received a life sentence without parole.

May Allaah free him.

Samir Azzouz

Samir Azzouz (born 27 June 1986) is a Dutch national of Moroccan descent. He is currently incarcerated on suspicion of attempting to procure heavy firearms and planning “terrorist” attacks. He is also suspected to be closely related to the terrorist group the Hofstad Network, but has never been prosecuted for membership of the group.
Azzouz was born in Amsterdam and grew up in a relatively poor immigrant neighborhood. He was a successful student in high school and started on VWO (the highest level in the Dutch secondary school system, granting access to university), but he left school before graduating. It was during his time in high school that he began following a radical form of islam.
In January 2003 Azzouz was arrested in Ukraine. He and a friend were allegedly on their way to Chechnya to fight for the jihad against Russia. However, the pair of 17-year olds lacked proper passports and clothing and had to return to the Netherlands.
In October 2003 Azzouz and four others were arrested in the Netherlands. They were suspected of constituting a terrorist cell, but were released for lack of evidence.
On 30 June 2004 Azzouz was arrested again for the armed robbery of a supermarket. During a search of Azzouz's house, police found what they believed to be evidence that Azzouz had been involved in planning several attacks on Dutch targets, such as Schiphol Airport and the nuclear power plant in Borssele. Police found maps of these targets, some chemicals used in explosives, such as fertilizer, and ammunition.
However, at trial the judge concluded there was insufficient evidence to convict Azzouz on the charge of planning terrorist attacks. He did in fact possess a homemade bomb but this proved faulty since he had used the wrong type of fertilizer. He was only convicted on the charge of illegal possession of firearms and sentenced to three months in jail. After this sentence he was finally acquitted of the original terrorism charge.
On 14 October 2005 Azzouz was arrested again on suspicion of attempting to procure heavy firearms and planning terrorist attacks against national politicians and the headquarters of the Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) in Leidschendam.
On 14 September 2006 the Dutch tv-program Nova broadcast parts of a video-testament of Samir Azzouz.
1 December 2006 he was sentenced to 8 years imprisonment, along with three other militant islamists.
Samir Azzouz suffers from the disease ulcerative colitis. EORG (a European organisation for the protection of rights of detainees) claims he does not receive proper care in prison.

Nouredine el Fahtni

Nouredine el Fahtni, Moroccan, is also a suspected member of the Hofstad Network.
El Fahtni was arrested in Portugal in the summer of 2004, during the European Football Championship, on suspicion of planning an attack on Portuguese prime-minister José Manuel Durão Barroso, but was released for insufficient evidence. In 2005, El Fahtni and his wife Soumaya Sahla were arrested in the Netherlands for possessing a loaded machine gun, for which Sahla received a nine-month sentence and El Fahtni five years. Prosecutors sought a 12 year sentence for El Fahtni's suspected involvement in the "Piranha terrorism plot" against politicians and the Dutch Secret Service, AIVD. On 1 December 2006, he was sentenced to four years imprisonment, while co-conspirators Mohammed Chentouf also received four years and Samir Azzouz eight years.

May Allaah hasten his release.
The sister mentioned, Soumaya, was released early May this year, walhamdulillah. I'm not sure if the other brother, Mohammed Chentouf, is still in prison. If so, may Allaah hasten his release!

Jason Walters

Jason Walters or Jamal (born March 6, 1985 in Amersfoort, Netherlands) is a Dutch convert to Islam. He is the son of an African American soldier based in the Netherlands and a Dutch woman. The General Intelligence and Security Office (AIVD) suspects he is a senior member of the Hofstad Network, a terror cell based in the Netherlands. In 2006, Walters was convicted by a Dutch court. His younger brother Jermaine Walters is also linked with the terror cell.
Walters converted to Islam at 16 (some sources say 13) and later adopted the name Abu Mujahied Al-Amriki. His talk about jihad against the non-believers caused his mosque to ban him and his brother and notify the authorities.
Walters has made at least one visit to Pakistan and possibly to Afghanistan where it is alleged he has received training at a terrorist training camp. Walters was arrested along with Ismail Akhnikh on November 10, 2004 after a massive 14 hour siege in The Hague. Near the end of this siege, hand grenades were thrown at police. This was one of a series of raids on suspected Muslim terrorist cells following the November 2, 2004 assassination of filmmaker Theo van Gogh by fellow Hofstad Network member Mohammed Bouyeri.
According to police, Walters had his own plans to assassinate Dutch political figures he deemed anti-Muslim, and his hit list included two members of parliament, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a native of Somalia, and Geert Wilders. Both, like van Gogh, had been outspoken critics of Islam in the Netherlands, particularly its treatment of women. In 2003, Walters wrote a farewell letter to his mother.
On Friday, March 10, 2006, Walters was convicted with eight others in the Netherlands on charges of terrorism. He was sentenced to fifteen years imprisonment.

I don't know if the brothers understand English, brother Mohammed and Jamal do, they used to translate English articles and books into Dutch. I'm not sure if the other brothers understand English either, but I think they do.
I can translate your letters if you want so...

Re: Prisoners of Holland
JazakAllah khair for this,
It is really important for us muslims to stand united as one nation and protect our fellow brothers and sisters who are in this or similar situations.
may Allah help them find peace in their heart.. and keep them strong Insha'Allah.
salaam
The Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) require Muslims to work for the unity of the Ummah. Muslims are required to be merciful towards each other (48:29) and be like the body where if any part hurts the whole body should feel the pain (Hadith).
