because manufacturers play around with the android OS before releasing the phones, sometimes certain functionality is added/removed. i think that is where the problem lies.

wmv playback doesn't really work to what i've tried.
audio player is good
the qur'an apps are actually quite decent, there's i think 4 different ones from which you can choose and other islmaic apps on the market.
you should be able to get a day out of it with the above inshaAllah

i don't think the applications not working is due to the screen, maybe because they're not made for the phone anyway. that's probably the main problem. but there is a lag on the snesoid/gameboid etc apps compared to the Desire but that is due to the processor being smaller i think. my phones been fine so far with all apps i have alhamdulillah though would be better if had better screen quality...

Each Fasting need to be performed seperatly and combining intentions in this case is incorrect although some latter scholars from Shafie said it. Their view is wrong.

I did look into it many years ago. There are some proteins that aren't halal and it is to do with the rennet and there are a few different opinions on the matter, but I was told that nowadays they use synthetic sources due to expense. I only buy protein from myprotein.co.uk or sports-nutrition.net/reflex and they are fine.

As far as I have learnt, it is permissible to consume produce as long as it is not clear that it is haram. So if I see a vegan symbol and I can't spot any intoxicating alcohol in the ingredients that is enough for me.

Zad al-Ma'ad, probably. It is perhaps the most incredible analysis of the Sirah ever written. I have not read al-Sallabi's book all the way through, but I hope that he would have incorporated ibn al-Qayyim's most important points. Al-Sallabi would have the advantage that he went through many other writings, sirah related and otherwise, trying to glean fawa'id related to every event, but there is only one ibn al-Qayyim.
