salaam. today i bought a book called basic quranic arabic grammar. it cost 3 quid from ipci bookstore. i am beggining to get basic grasp of quranic language.

what does "yad" mean in arabic? hand or from finger tip all the way up to the shoulder blade i.e entire arm?

bro tabari's interpretation of the qur'an is affected by israeeliat traditions.suyuti pointed this out in one of his books called al durr al manthur fil tafsir bil mathur. but i guess there were die hard fundamentalist muslims back then, just like yourselv, who OBJECTED to suyuti's response to tabari's use of israeliyat traditions to explain the qur'an.
