Berlin court have ruled that Muslim students cannot observe Salah at school in response to case by school against a lower court verdict upholding the individual's right to pray. The basis of ruling is that doing so disrupt the peace at school because school consist of various students of beliefs and upholding peace is more important than an individual's right to religion. This case involved a Muslim teenager by the name of Yusuf and his headmistress who had denied him to pray at school premises. Though all is not lost as this can still be challenged by our brother in Germany's Federal Administrative Court. May Allah grant him success there and give him strength to struggle. It must be noted German court had earlier upheld the ban on head-scarves of teachers.
