Allah created both good and evil as it is known (the creation perform good or evil). This part of theology is also found in the Bible:

    Isaiah 45:5-7
¶ I am Yehowah, and there is none else, there is no Elohiym beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is no one other than me. I am YHVH, and there is no one else.
7 I (alone) form the light, and create darkness: I (alone) make peace, and create evil: I YHVH do all these things (alone).

Bro there is a difference between saying that evil is created by Allah and attributing evil to Allah. And forgive me for asking bro but what is the purpose of quoting from the bible (I don't get that part)?

This is insane. This is your third or fourth thread following your failure in the last debate and each thread is worse than the one before. You need to stop or to be stopped.

In the last debate you said the Quran and the Sunnah is all we need and now you have been reduced to quoting Biblical references to justify your insanity.

In any case, your Biblical quotations prove nothing about the Islamic position on this topic, for which we would need to know what Lord Krishna said to Hanuman in the Noble Bhagvad Gita. So tell us.

You are right. Allah created evil, but evil is not attributed to Him:

"I respond to your call (O Allah!), and I am obedient to your orders, all Good is in your Hands, and the evil is not attributable to You, I am by You, and to You,
Blessed are Thee and Exalted… "(Collected by Muslim)

Tafsir ibn Kathir for Quran 37:96 -
    ﴿وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴾
(While Allah has created you and what you make!) This may mean, `Allah has created you and what you do;' or it may mean, `Allah has created you and what you make.' Both views are synonymous. The former is more apparent because of the report recorded by Al-Bukhari in the Book Af`al Al-`Ibad from Hudhayfah, attributed to the Prophet :
    «إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى يَصْنَعُ كُلَّ صَانِعٍ وَصَنْعَتَه»
(Allah has created every doer of deeds and what he does.) Thereupon he recited:
    ﴿وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴾
(While Allah has created you and what you make!)

The Quran and Sunnah is sufficient for us. I only quoted the Bible to convey the message that such concept exists in the Bible. It is not necessary to be concerned about it.

I have chosen to ignore brother Artistic Muslim. Allah be the judge between us. You are one of the very few on this forum - who would address me in that manner.

Great. Could you please ignore me a bit more quietly instead of seeking redemption for your failure by flooding the forums with threads which are all related to our previous discussion?

If you have noticed brother, I have not mentioned you by name as behind the scene instigator of those threads. It is true that there are two threads (this being the second one = hardly flooding the forum) arising out of our discussion in the initial Greek logic thread. This is not for seeking what you call 'redemption'. Your assumption is based on envy, I suggest. This is a big crime relating to manners and satan banks upon such attitude as it would like create rifts between Muslims.

However, you don't have the right to dictate to me as to when I should start or stop a thread. The bullying tactic does not work with everybody, alhamdulillah.

When you started a thread on "can we call Allah a thing?" I didnt get involved because that was framed as a proper request for knowledge.

When you start substantiating your unfounded positions with quotations from the Bible while pretending to speak from a position of knowledge, this is a munkar which is at least as pleasing to shaytaan as crimes of manners whatever that means.

We are brothers always but being brothers doesnt let either one of us off the hook when it comes to denouncing what we see as munkar provided we do so based on knowledge.

What is unfounded about the issue of evils being part of Allah's creation?

being brothers means that there are specific ways to give advice and whatnot. being a bully will not solve anything, if anything it will just make things worse. Allah warns us in the quran to be careful in our speech to other muslims because shaytan is going to try to and cause dissection.

im not aware of the past threads but that still has nothing to do with whats mentioned here.
