    As-sallamu alaykum,

I embraced Islam almost eighteen months ago. Since then I have learned to pray, I have read seerah and begun to study al-Quraan and some ahadith.

I do not have the ability to enrol in an Islamic college and follow a specific programme in deen but I want to keep progressing. What do IA users think I should pursue next? Is aqeedah study too complex? Or should I focus on reading about Tawheed or fiqh?

    Jazak allah for reading.

    wa 3lay kum assalam,

Welcome to Islam akhi may Allah keep you steadfast in this deen ameen. It's always beneficial to study aqeedah/Tawheed first as the most practical application will be through aqeedah/Tawheed; especially when you're being tested and you're thrown off your deen for a little so I highly suggest reading about Tawheed, Emaan, Qadaa/Qadr, etc before you get into fiqh.
