    Asalaam alaikum.

It is claimed that Kitaab al-Sunnah is falsely ascribed to the son of Imam Ahmad...

Can anyone refer me to a link that refutes such a claim?

or is such a claim true?

    Many thanks!

    Wa 'aleyku al-salaam.
Al-Dhahabi accepts it as a book from 'Abd Allah ibn Ahmad in Syar.

  4. As for it's chain then the Muhaqiqeen weaken it ( 3 people or more missing or something like that), but unfortunately this is not the only way of verifying whether a book is authentically atributted or not !!
